안녕하세요 코지데이입니다. 여러분께서 지적해주신 몇가지 부분에 대해 말씀드리려고 합니다. *1. 브리더에게 돈을 지불하고 강아지를 데려왔으나 입양이라는 단어를 선택한 것에 대해 :* 저희는 강아지를 물건처럼 구매하거나 분양한다고 표현해서는 안된다고 생각했습니다. 그래서 비록 브리더에게 돈을 주고 데려오는거지만 저희의 새로운 가족을 데려온다는 생각으로 "입양"이라는 표현을 사용했습니다. 저희 영상을 보시는 여러분을 속이려는 의도는 전혀 없었지만 단어 선택에 있어 신중하지 못했던 점에 대해 정말 죄송합니다. *2. 영상 내 "쾌적한 환경에서 건강하게 자란 아이들"이라는 표현에 대해 :* 저희는 "강아지 공장"이 아닌 공간에서 건강하게 자란 아이들을 데려오겠다는 의미에서 이 문장을 사용했고, 유기견들이 지내고 있는 보호소를 비하할 의도는 전혀 없었습니다. 하지만 영상 제작과정에서 해당 문장에 "강아지 공장 말고"라는 어절을 빠뜨리게 되었고, 이로 인해 여러분께서 헷갈릴 수 있는 표현이 되어버린 점, 진심으로 사과드립니다. 저희가 "브리더"라는 논란의 여지가 있는 방법을 택한 것 같아 부끄럽고 죄송합니다. 펫샵보다 브리더가 윤리적이라고 생각하였고, 그래서 브리더로부터 강아지를 데려오는 모습을 영상으로 자세하게 제작하게 되었으나, 논란의 여지가 있는 방법임을 미처 인지하지 못했습니다. 하지만 이미 콩알이를 저희의 새 가족으로 맞이한 만큼, 부족함 없이, 책임감있게, 사랑 듬뿍 주면서 키우는 모습 보여드리겠습니다. About paid a breeder to bring a puppy, but choosed the word adoption :* We thought, "We shouldn't describe dog as purchasing or selling them like objects." So we used the word "adoption" to bring in our new family, even though we've paid the breeder to bring them in. We didn't mean to deceive you, but we're really sorry for not being careful in choosing words. *2. About the caption "Puppy who grew up healthy in a pleasant environment" in the video :* We used this sentence to say, "We want to bring puppy who grew up healthy in a space , not a puppy farm." and we had no intention of disparaging the shelter. However, in the process of producing the video, the phrase "not a puppy farm" was omitted in the sentence, which made it an expression that you could be confused with. we sincerely apologize. We're ashamed and sorry that we have chosen the controversial method of "From breeder". We thought the breeder was more ethical than the pet shop, so we made a video of bringing the dog from the breeder in detail, but we didn't realize it was a controversial way. However, as we have already welcomed ConR as our new family, we will raise with no shortage, with responsibility, and love.

@@o923-j7w 제가 드리고 싶은 말씀은 자유의 침범이 잘못됐다는 것입니다. 영향력을 가지고 있다고 해서 유기견은 입양해야한다? 어불성설이죠. 923님께서 유기견에 대해 관심가지고 어쩌면 해결하기 위해 미약하게나마 힘쓰고 계실지 모르지만 그게 강요되어서는 안되는 일입니다. 평생을 함께할 가족을 고르는 일이니 더더욱 그렇겠죠. 저 영상에는 행복해보이는 세 식구가 있는데 갑작스러운 규탄들에 좀 당혹감이 드네요.

When I saw "adopt" I thought they would go to a rescue or shelter but they purchased from a breeder. It's a good sign that the breeder introduced them to the parents and it looks like the puppy is socialized since he adapted so quickly to his new environment (personality does play a role in that part too though and that's one outgoing puppy). I just can't help thinking of all the dogs Guremi's owner shows in her videos when she volunteers at the dog shelter. I hope that breeder is responsible and takes back their dogs if the people who purchased them can no longer keep them for any reason. My childhood dogs were both rescues; one as an adult from the local kill shelter and the other rescued from an abusive home as a puppy. Whenever I can adopt (need to live somewhere that allows large dogs) I plan on adopting an adult from a rescue. People underestimate the choices available when rescuing. There are breed specific rescues that can help choose the dog you're most compatible with. Any good rescue will make sure your personality, experience level, and environment are suitable for the dog you want or they will suggest a compatible match.

Exactly! Gosh, thank you for explaining it so well. I adopted twice with my family, one dog from one year old rescued from the streets, and a puppy rescued frome the streets too with its siblings and mom. None of them were traumatised, none of them were problematic. We wanted a junior dog, we found it. Then we wanted a puppy, we found it as well. It's only a matter of dedication, and to be aware that adoption is saving a life.

I think here the only problem is the wording, because it's nobodys business where they get their dog from, but by announcing that they are going to "adopt" I expected the same. I don't think they wanted to mislead us, it is just a bad description.

When I want to write the word “ buy a dog or raise a dog” in my language, google will show me the word “adopt” all the time. So this is the same case that google sends us misleading word.

물론 애견샵 분양보다 낫지만 브리더 입양 약간 충격이네요…개인의 자유지만 공부했으면 “사지말고 입양” 많이 봤을 것 같은데요. 돈 주고 예쁜 쇼독급 강아지 사는게 입양 아니에요. 유기견 보호소에 있는 강아지 다 아프고 나쁜 환경에서 자라는 성견도 아니고 그냥 더 간절히 사랑과 따듯한 집이 필요하는데 잘 찾으면 원하는 조건 맞는 작고 귀여운 아이들도 많아요! 초보자라 이런 택했던 같은데 단어 선택과 이런 부분 잘 설명해줬으면 더 좋았을텐데 아쉽네요. 콩알도 너무 소중하니까 많이 예뻐해주고 책임감 있게 잘 키우시길 바래요 :)

Unpopular opinion, but this is not really adopting... A dog whose parents have a pedigree, and being a contest champion... that dog has to be bought. When you adopt, you don't pay (at least, not more than the sterilisation when appropriate, or something symbolic for the association when you adopt a puppy). When you adopt, you're saving a life. And even when someone is looking for a certain trait (let's say a small size dog), they can find it on shelters. On the shelters they don't have specific breeds, but I don't thing people should look for a breed when getting a pet. It's okay to look for traits, like a small or big size, male or female, or even behaviour when you adopt a junior/senior pet. There are so many animals in shelters that don't have a family... Anyways, I'm sure CozyDog is going to be very happy with its new family.

@@leftoclock perhaps i should have worded my sentence better thats on me but look up the definitions of adoption, its just a different form of adoption, all they did was use the more literal form of the word adopt, which has different context to what is more commonly used, im not tryin to be ridiculous im just saying a lot of people here are being rude and overly sensitive cause of a word they use and even if they did said they bought the dog i can guarantee the same people would saying how disappointed they are etc.

강아지 "얼마"주고 데려오셨나요? 심사숙고 후 데려오신 마음 잘 전달되었지만 결론적으로 쾌적한 환경의 아이를 전문브리더를 통해 구매해오신것 아닌가요? 물론 앞으로 영상에 강아지가 나올테고 어디서 데려왔는지 영상에 나오지않았다면 궁금해하는 댓글들 달리고 답변하고 하는 과정이 분명 있을수밖에 없어서 영상에 남기신건 알겠는데 굳이 아무 거리낌 없이 전시하시는 모습은 좋아보이지 않습니다. 또한 유기견을 키우라고 강요하는 것이 아니라 어떤 루트건 간에 돈을 주고 생명을 구매하는걸 전시하는건 지양하시는게 마땅하다는 말입니다. 전문브리더와 펫샵은 크게 다를바가 없으며 전문브리더라도 요지는 강이지를 교배시켜 판매하는점이 문제입니다. 다른분이 다신 댓글처럼 수요가 있는 한 공급은 없어지지 않습니다.

It was nice to see how well they prepared! I also thought at first that they were going to get a shelter or rescue dog. But, think it was just a matter of how words got translated. I also don't think people are trying to be mean or nosy or criticize them about their choice. Most Americans would think of a shelter or rescue dog when we hear the word adopt. Usually if you get a dog from a breeder you are buying a dog--- I think it is just a matter of translation and not bad intentions or misrepresentation or criticism on anyone part. They are such a wonderful couple and I enjoy watching their post.

yes but they are first time pet owners and i agree its great to get dogs from shelters (had a few myself), but you dont know the background/medical issues and behavior of the dog you are adopting and it can be very challenging and frustrating

Since Cozy Couple loves plants and have been getting really into gardening lately, make sure to check if the plants are "PET FRIENDLY" or at least way out of reach for little Cozy Pup to not be able to munch on them! A lot of people fail to remember that some plants can be highly toxic to pets! So always double check!! *My significant other and I are looking into adopting a kitty and we have some plants, but I always looked them up before purchasing them for when the kitty does come around!

브리더는 조금 더 전문적인 방법으로 순종을 교배 시키는 곳에서 애들을 사서 데려오는 곳이죠...말만 그럴싸하지 결국 동물을 교배하여 사람의 이익을 얻는데에 이용하는거예요. 어떻게든 이쁘고 어린 품종견을 데려오고싶어했다고 느껴져서 조금 슬프네요..ㅠㅠ 좋은 마음으로 데려왔다해도 결국 브리더에 이익을 주어 그런 시스템이 계속 흐를 수 있게 이바지한 것엔 변함이 없습니다....이미 가족으로 들이셨으니 사랑으로 보듬어주실건 알지만 실망스러운건 어쩔 수 없네요... 지금도 수많은 아이들이 버려져 유기소에 들어가 안락사를 당하는데, 많은 사람들은 교배시킨 곳에서 사온다는걸 또 뼈저리게 느끼게 되었어요....제가 좋아하는 유튜버 채널조차도...씁쓸하네요 😥

Although I really recommend for other people to adopt a dog from a shelter, it's only Cozyday's first time to adopt a dog so It's better for them!! Yeah, I don't know why I though they would adopt from the shelter, so I am a little surprised. Please everyone if you want a dog, give a chance to dogs from the shelters, you are probably their last chance.

Yeah, I was excited when they said they were going to adopt. Then they went to a breeder with dogs with pedigree, and I was like "hm... this is not adoption". I wish they would have adopt from a shelter, it would be a good influence on others. Also, adopting is saving a life.

I thought that two adorable misfit people would adopt an adorable misfit dog from a shelter as well. Maybe if this one gets a brother or sister someday, they will consider all the dogs that are perfectly loving and loveable that need homes.
