I've been looking for someone who recorded a Sunwing flight and you did a damn fine job Sam. I live in the lower 48 and I know one of the Sunwing Pilots, he was helping me when I was taking flying lessons. So you knew what runway the 737 was going to for take off, but you didn't know that D14 is next to the emergency exit??? Did you also know that some seats don't have windows available because of their position on the plane??

Unless it's an emergency exit, the check-in agents wouldn't know if your seat doesn't recline. Sometimes the seat are broken and won't stay in the up right position because of wear and tear. So maintenance as to lock it in the upright position. In this case the agents will not know this. They just know if a seat is blocked off or not.

Joe D 14 is infront of the emergency exit row (15 & 16) so 14 doesn’t recline due to the fact that it would impede the evacuation. So the gate agent could’ve told them. But if it was a full flight there’s nothing really that they can do. Someone’s gotta sit there.

I've flown with Sunwing airlines many times between Vancouver and Puerto Vallarta and u can't say I've ever had any issues I know that West Jet has taken them over but while they were here I've always enjoyed my flight and the silly part of the video where you were upset about the drink sliding on the table thats what the cup holder's for LoL 😂

When you fly Sunwing this is the kind of crappy service you can expect. Nothing in that video surprised me. Just as a FYI, there is only one runway 23 in YYZ, no L or R. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

they are a low cost airline and many of the passengers on board should not expect anything great either to be honest, they just want to get to their vacation destination

Great video. Ive flown twice on SunWing. First & Last. Very old 737 planes They are retired planes from a German airline. Your review & videography is superb

Well their max is new I flew their 800 and max8 and while it was not a great flight it was enough for a 3 hour flight. The flight back we got a 5 hour delay from 10pm to after 3am the next morning so that was a little rough since the Varadero airfield terminal was small. But I didnt complain and we got in early that morning to yyz and that made for a comfortable arrival! Great report.

I hope for the sake of those around you your feet did not stink. I actually got arrested a LONG time ago for punching an idiot having his horrible smelling feet about two feet from the back of my head. I asked him THREE TIMES to please put his feet down from near my head. Forth time I TOLD him if he didn't, I would hurt him. He laughed at me, I stood up, I then broke his nose. Later on, when the judge asked what the deal was, the three witnesses I had with me in the courtroom explained to the judge exactly what happened and why the idiot was 'hurt'. Judge asked them all, "So, he WAS warned very plainly?" Idiot was not in the courtroom. The case was dismissed. This was WAY back in the '80s.

The terminal 3 is just an old embarrasement to toronto pearson, go book a flight with air canada terminal 1 and itll be the best airport in north america

Sunwing use to park a T1, but Air Canada used their lobbying power and forced Sunwing to T3, because AC wanded all the Star Alliance partners at the same terminal
