Yeah some ASMRists insert fake sounds after they film. This is usually in the videos where no microphone is shown and it would be difficult to capture the sound naturally. I don't mind it so long as I don't notice. If I do it ruins the video for me. You can sometimes tell if they do a bad job syncing it up and the sound stops before the action ends or vice versa.
