Tomari really has the cards that can win every battle even with the skin of her teeth. That Grade 4 she calls is really overpowered when it is just not to lock the cards from the vanguard circle but also in the soul and hand as well. No doubt Tomari is a hidden gem of Blackout and is truly the coolest girl of the team ever.

Seraph Purelight translation for anyone wondering: [AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (VC), COST[Counter-Blast 1 & Soul-Blast 1 card with "Seraph" in its card name], your opponent chooses two cards each from their hand, soul and from among their rear-guards, and imprison them in your Prison. [CONT](VC):During your turn, your front row units get [Power]+5000 for every two cards imprisoned in your Prison. If there are ten or more cards imprisoned, all units in your front row get [Critical]+1.

Well that's another great episode, Tomari vs Masanori is really great especially on Masanori who is basically Shouma from G, but this doesn't change the fact that Haruka is still the most hated character in vanguard for me also glad to see rearguards other than Varina in fights. The problem I have for this episode is that Tomari never got to fight or do much in the story and it's probably her only good moment, which is just a minor nit-pick, also the Grade 4 Seraph Snow is broken definitely better than Magnolia and Nirvana's Grade 4. Next is Tohya vs Danji, where thier roles from the last season would be reversed and Grade 4 vs Grade 4 will begin.

Another banger episode buuuuuut I’m starting to see a pattern here. Not being negative about the writing tho( the story and backstory has been great) but it’s something I picked up. So the episode starts with some backstory, a talk about how the protagonist is going to beat the bad guy. The fight starts and the opponent pushes to 5 damage with their backstory. Something about “you should give up” and “there’re still hope” and then the new grade 4 appear with cool animation and “a grade 4?!”. The protagonist attack with the vanguard and check a trigger then they win. After that they talk about the past more and move onto the other floor with some ominous teasers for next week’s opponent andddd done.
