I really like the explanaition Yuyu gives for Esperaridea. The idea of accepting everything you've been rather than casting away your past self. It also makes sense why its called overDress now. Really great season. Very excited for season 3.

Especially with mirei who hated the world because no one was there to really help her and the person she thought did care abt her was presumed dead. her entire arc is abt her being able to have fun with people who care abt her, disability or not, and has her back and who she can trust.

I love how they didn't make it end with his strongest unit. It shows how far he has made but never threw away his past and used his original card to finish it off. Season 2 is truly the best.

Kept hearing about how good Season 2 was and after binge watching it over the past couple of days, I can see why. More cardfights, more strong emotional beats and holy cow the soundtracks are absolute bangers! Overall a huge improvement, thank you for a great season. Looking forward to Season 3!

That was such a great conclusion to the story. All the story beats in Yu-yu and Mirei's fight made a lot of sense emotionally, and getting the final damage through with Trickstar was a really nice touch!

You can tell there was a lot of love and dedication put into this show and, while I wasn't sold on S1 nor on the initial S2, I'm happy with how Overdress turned out, it really became one of my favorite vanguard seasons ever. Also, I love the detail of how the cards played by Mirei are slightly off center from the VG/RG circles because, of course, she's blind. It's just details like that that are awesome.

I've been loving Overdess even with the few hiccups and me wishing they had more time to explore somethings the emotional parts of this show are absolutely amazing. Trickstar flying into Merei's heart to deliver the final blow was one of the most cute and wholesome things ever.

The best episode yet especially Bushiroad did Yu-Yu clean with his kindness against Mirei. The ending of it is very satisfying after Mirei's soul is healed through a wonderful cardfight. And once again Yu-Yu's journey still continues as Season 3 is announced and it's gonna be lit as ever and I can't wait to watch this one.

Honestly this show needs more keter sanctuary users I mean why make Tohya the only one? In fairness, they should add more fighters for keter sanctuary so that Tohya wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. Also, they should give lyrical monasteria a debut in the anime along with the other decks for the game we didn't see in the show like flagrburg and hexaorb

This season has been such a treat. I think they were perfectly able to balance the fights and animation here. I loved Bavsarga’s scene where she point blank blasted Yu-Yu and Nirvana and Vairina 2 v 1’ing her above Japan. I was able to enjoy this season so much more compared to the last one. I hope season 3 is just as good.

Ngl. A lot of people, including me doubted OverDress season 1 and how it was gonna go. I enjoyed it as a vanguard player but the story was very linear. But season 2 proof me wrong, it was one of the best if not the best card game anime ever. Hope more people come to watch from when Bushi sponsored Gigguk lol.

Bushiroad already said that there are season 3 and 4 If you pay attention to what Masanori said, Daybreak is not the first did something bad like banner burning So after watching episode 20, I guessed Masanori has something to do with the villain in season 3. Maybe I am wrong, but I really think this guess is reasonable because we don't know much about him. Even after episode 22

Yup this season was a blast and the final episode was amazing. During the fight I couldn't tell who would win, especially with Mirei's 6th damage Overtrigger, Yu-yu finishing the fight with trickstar was probably one of the best moments in Vanguard. Also I kinda like the fact Mirei used up all of her heals and over trigger, similar to Ren in Link Joker during his fight against Kai. Another thing is I'm kinda glad Mirei and maybe Haruka have changed for the better by returning the banners. As for this season it started off calm but the fights got more and more intense, the animations got better and developed most of their characters. And the set up for season 3 leaves you with questions, what's Masanori's true goal ? Overall this season is 8/10 it has minor problems but it's definitely better than V aside from Shin's season. Finally Yu-yu x Mirei, can't change my mind.

The final fight really gives thrilling atmosphere. No talking about anything else just focus on the game. This what Vanguard Anime should be. Really reminds me of G Era. But at least Overdress give chance to my precious Nakashima Yuki to become wonderful and strong character for the series. AiAi as Tokoha, Kudoharu as Luna and now Yukki as Mirei. 3 of 7 members of Roselia come to Vanguard. What a bless

That fight was the best for this entire season it was so intense I like how Yuyu's turn when he rides Mahar Nirvana didn't end the fight immediately and gave Mirei realization of her mistakes, somehow it's like Kai VS Aichi in Link Joker, and how Yuyu portrayed Esperaridea's skill as accepting ones self throughout, it hit hard for me as I relate to this situation too, I didn't accept myself beacause of past mistakes but others help me realize it and awakened my new self. Anyways Overall, Awesome season at least this time you know what's going on in the Cardfight and the character development was really needed, So Big bad Masanori is at it again, and this time the antagonist might be a shut in just by seeing that scene alone, and were getting Season 3 next year, I kinda want to see more of Mirei next season to see how she is.

Yeah, I really like that details. And her support (Haruka & Danji) doesn't bother correcting her on that regard because its not relevant to the fight, they're to make sure the opponent doesn't cheat on her.

@@TheOverlordEND I totally agree. Though, after playing Dear Days, I noticed a detail when playing Bavsargra. The first time you equip an arms card, the field actually expands lmao. This made me realize that Mirei might actually just be compensating for the fact that her vanguard will be three cards wide. Still pretty impressive considering she is, after all, still blind. And again, it's still goes to show how much attention to detail this series has to even show that Mirei is compensating for the fact that her deck doesn't work with the default playmat.

You know I'm seeing a lot of season 3 talk so... I hope we get a tournament arc. Just in some way like the other seasons have, I feel like we have some loose ends to fill out like Danji's familiy finding out he's alive. Muy buen final de temporada, me gusto mucho el duelo, bien por yuyu evangelizando a Mirei, lastima por ella pero igual me encanto el personaje de lo mejor de la temporada, a esperar lo proximo que salga :D
