The stickers aren't how she identifies them. As far as I am aware, even to the partially vision impaired, they'd still be formless blobs. Pretty sure the sleeves have braille.

I'm surprised so many people are shocked that Mirei uses stickers to identify what card she has. They're also sleeves with Braille that people use to be able to play card games as well. But the option is very colorful and is a nice addition to her personality

My favorite part is not just how respectful the show is of Mirei as a person first and disabled second, by not calling too much attention to it but also giving deliberate care and attention to showing how she lives and plays with it, but the implications it also has that enhances her strengths. Not only does she recognize her own cards by sticker alone, but she's keeping track of the board exclusively through hearing Danji describe his actions. At all times she's memorizing how much damage he has, what he's called and what's been intercepted or retired, and even his hand size. They don't even touch on these but the implication is really helpful in elevating her as one of the most formidable fighters in the anime through its recurring theme of ones imagination being key in someone's strength. Also, it means her opening her eyes is literally an intimidation tactic which is hilarious and terrifying.

Mirei playing the cards by adding stickers to them probably is a bigger statement of how much she probably trained to use her deck. As she most likely would have needed to be told what the effects of each card are, and then try to memorize each of them and associate them with the specific sticker

Absoluetly amazing ep!!! From making me feel sad with Danji not being able to tell his sister its her big bro after all the kind words/memories she shared, to the amazing fight and the terror on Danji's face with her winning image and the skills being shown once again I'm so happy the series is continuing to get back on the rails of reason. The only thing I wish they would bring back is ride chants for even more hype.

@@tashujain8881 Actually, if you looked closely in the last episode, when Danji picked up her half of the heart pendant she dropped, they briefly showed both halves to us. One had MM on it, which is obviously for Mirae...but the other looked like it said NM on it (the shot of it was a bit blurry due to the light shine on it, but you could make out some fancy curves in the lettering). And given we know the M is for Minei, the name of the family, then that would mean Danji's actual first name should start with a N, which means changing his name completely to Danji Momoyama doesn't make him as obvious to figure out.

El anterior episodio si bien dio pistas fueron contradictorias, Ok es invidente y??? Viendo como medio mundo la trata en casa y empresa con razón es consentida e inútil en lo cotidiano. Sigo sin comprender por que su felicidad debe ser a costa de la desgracia ajena. Aparte, creo dicha familia esta también relacionada con la religión como Danji visitando ese templo abandonado, el asunto de los rezos / bendiciónes, y como aparecen vestidas en el flashback.... y eso hace que me pregunte es invidente de nacimiento o la situación de ese flashback esta relacionado. Y en el otro flashback se ve no estaba tan niña como para olvidar la voz de su hermano, es decir, no creo Danji haya huido de casa siendo niño, ya debió tener la voz cambiada (1er flashback). Así que no se si es tonta o se hace para manipular a todos. Primero me quede ¿? de como lee la carta, per o luego aparecen los stickers, tipo y posición le indican que carta es, pero... Hablando de Braille, ese picturebook que lee no parece tenerlos, esta raro. No me cae bien la chiquilla esa XD Edit: corrección de palabra.

Mirei is the best. She's my favorite Over Dress character to date, and that's on top of me falling in love with Bavsargra before even seeing her on screen. It was my starter deck and I still enjoy using it despite it not being meta or anything.

Don't get me wrong though, absolutely loved this episode regardless. It was a lot of fun being able to see a bit of what Mirei's home life is like, and was even better to see her and Danji have a good time together! Plus that fight animation was GORGEOUS.
