I often see information that it is dangerous to have a short connection time for domestic flights in Vietnam, and I feel that it is indeed a bit of a hitch if you cannot use the priority lanes such as business class or status members...
Immigration is very crowded
I had to go through immigration at the domestic transfer point, and the line was much longer than I had imagined.
Fortunately, I was able to use the priority lane, so I hardly had to wait in line, but it still took about 10 minutes. However, the line was 5 to 6 times longer than that, so it would have taken about an hour if I had gone normally (at that time).
I saw some information that you are asked to show your return ticket, but I was not told anything, only my passport. I saw some people showing it on their cell phone screen, but I guessed it was probably for the purpose of monitoring illegal stay.
If you do not have through-baggage, you will have to pick up your checked baggage at the turnstile and deposit it. (I generally do not check baggage even when abroad, so I skip this part.
It is a little bit far to move between international and domestic terminals.
In Ho Chi Minh City, you have to walk, and in Hanoi, you have to take a free shuttle bus. It may be because it was late at night in Hanoi, but the shuttle bus did not leave until all the passengers had gathered, and it took more than 20 minutes to get to the terminal, including the waiting time. I don't think you can move by walk.
The security check was very crowded.
I was able to use the priority lane so I didn't have to wait in line, but there was a huge line (especially in Hanoi). Hanoi Airport is a hub airport for both domestic and international flights, so it is basically crowded. I used it on a Tuesday in late February, a weekday in off-season, and it was a late-night flight, but it was extremely crowded. I have been to about 30 countries and used various airports, but I have never seen such a crowded airport under these conditions...

私が予約したプランは1泊1部屋で48,000円でした！施設の充実さと、高級スパが1日2回付きなの十分価値はあると思います。 ダナンは1部屋1万円台で良いホテルもたくさんあるのでホテル移動しようか迷いましたが、今回は2泊なので移動時間短縮のために連泊しています☺️

初めまして。 動画楽しく見させてもらいました！ 8月ごろにダナンに行ってみたいと思っているので参考になりました。 今年1月初めてハノイに行ったのですが、確かに概要欄にある通り入国審査激混みで50分ぐらいかかりました・・・。 そこで質問があります。 羽田からホーチミンへ行きそこから国内線でダナンへ向かう予定です。 乗り継ぎ時間１時間45分の予定ですがこれだと危ないですか？？ ホーチミンからダナンはベトナム航空で、一応ワンワールドのエメラルド所有しています。 ベトナムでの乗り継ぎ経験がない為、なにかアドバイス頂けたら嬉しいです♪

ご視聴ありがとうございます！ 状況によるので一概には言えませんが1時間45分は結構ギリギリかな…という感覚です。 LCCを使わない、荷物を預けず機内に持ち込む、プライオリティパスを使う(入国審査もセキュリティも優先レーンを使う)ができるとだいぶ余裕が出ると思います。 私も1時間45分だったので迷いましたが、ローシーズンの平日かつ上記の条件を全て満たしていたので、まぁいけるだろうという判断でした！ ワンワールドの特典がよく分かっておりませんが、優先レーンを使えるとかなり違うので調べられると良いと思います！ ちなみに入国審査の優先レーンは特に表示がなく、係の方に聞いたら雑に指差し案内されました…笑 ハイシーズンだとまた違うと思いますのでご参考程度に宜しくお願いします🙇
