I tend to prefer a lot of songs in 3/4 and 6/4 over ones in 4/4. Great job man!

It's a time signature. To put it simply, when you count each beat of a song in 4/4, you'll count 1, 2, 3, 4 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on. In 3/4 you count 1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 which gives the rhythm of the song a completely different feel.
