It’s a Saturday night in August 2022. 30 years ago I’d have been on my way into Sheffield city centre to go the Jam Factory at The Palais, or TechnoCity at Occasions, a gram of pink champagne and a Dove in my pockets. Taking a trip back down memory lane with some awesome tunes is almost good enough for now.

I heard the version on the Back To Mine compilation, but if my memory serves me correctly, it too was taken from vinyl. I had someone recently tell me that there's a full length copy that they believe was taken from a master tape source or a damn near perfect vinyl. The compilation's called "Manchester North Of England - A Story Of Independent Music Greater Manchester 1977 - 1993". It was on the Haçienda Classics album a few years back, so you might be able to track down a copy of it from that. If not, apparently Beatport has the original among all the remixes. Hope that helps!
