To help prevent the sickness the baby is getting the injection for. 3. (For us foreigners) They live in a different country than you. Meaning, people AND BABIES could be more susceptible to other/different illnesses, diseases etc...So it's not a lot if you don't know their situation.

Ruda is so brave! Hopefully, she becomes more comfortable with needles/shots as she gets older! But if she still feels scared of them, you can train her to do deep breathing. So take a deep inhale and a big exhale, do it 1 or 2 times, then a big inhale as the nurse puts the needle in her arm. This will relax her body (tense body makes the needle hurt more!) and also the sensation of a deep inhale will distract her and hopefully calm her down.
