The amount of people saying the cgi looks bad have clearly never stepped foot in studying vfx. This whole video is suppose to appear as a 1970s-80s American family's interpretation of how this would look. And the ending cgi is not that bad either, it did its job and you can't expect what's likely a smaller vfx team to look like a marvel movie. Actually no. This kind of "too bright-pastel colored" setting, has been used in horror, since at least Nightmare on Elm street. The contrast of the bright- seemingly cheerful environment works very well in horror.
