Wow...stunning conditions you got up there.Inversions are special.Great route up the Schoolhouse Ridge and the curved ridge from Sgorr Bhan to the Munro is superb.😃👍

Jaw-dropping cloud inversion with those tobacco-orange layers on the horizon. I've been lucky to see them in the Alps, the Chamonix Arve valley fills in to spectacular effect, but not in the British mountains. Great choice of shots, perspective & time lapse sequences. Thanks for sharing

Cheers! It was unbelievable up there, I've had the odd so so inversion but not quite as full on as this one. The full moon up there was the icing on the cake too! Hoping to get out to Chamonix and Alps in the next few years, but need a wee bit more experience first!

@@adventurefilmclub2549 This one will stay with you. Seeing the Ben as in island in the cloud sea was fantastic - the light & quality of the mist was amazing... like a view from an aeroplane. You'll love the Alps when you get out there, and your Scottish mountain experience will transfer nicely. I generally climbed classic routes around AD and moving together smoothly with coils on mixed terrain was probably more important than the technical/pitched side of things.
