You have to unlock everything in the krypt 2-3 times, play the story mode (base story and Aftermath story), do the character towers, play many towers of time, play in kombat league, play AI battles, catch krypt events, play in the Race Against Time and maybe other methods I might have forgotten. You can also buy some skins in the in-game store (if you have time crystals). Also, there are some skin packs you buy with money.

Also, the thiny warns us that we do it on our own risk, that there is the chance to get banned. I didn't, but maybe I got lucky. But if unlocking the Gold Demon Scorpion skins (which are very expensive) didn't get me banned, I guess it's pretty safe.
