Example: Sub-Zero - His attire looks like a grandmother's travelling cloak, mixed with a a " Knight in Shining Armour " costume from Disneyland. - I don't get grand master vibes from him, I get ice cream maker vibes more. - He looks like Scorpion and Killer Frost had a kid. - I think his mom tucked him in nicely in his outfit before heading to the tournament. - He's the top dog in the old folks home, because the Lin Kuei have been around since before he was even an idea.

Kwife, here is the basics on Mortal Kombat. An evil tyrant from a realm called Outworld wants to conquer Earth. Instead of having an all out war, the Mortal Kombat fighting tournament was created. If the good guys win the tournament, Earth is spared for many years til the next tournament. If the bad guys win, Earth is conquered. Hope that helps.

little late for this but Kwife Sub-Zero's arms aren't actually frozen first off he's an alien second his alien powers allow him to get "ice powers" it's not magic and finally ALL kryptonians are weak against magic cus magic doesn't care if your an alien or not and requires magic resistance from spells or being a magic being. Also It's not the camera being lifted it's the loser's head and spine being removed Sub-Zero did this before Scorpion.
