@@burnttunatoast It does actually work like a mirror. There is a reason on why you don't see that kind of reflection unless you enable raytracing. What they are doing probably is not raytracing but planar reflection. The question is whether planar reflection is taxing or not. Currently, not many games actually use it and the only game that I know use it a lot is Hitman 3. The reason on not many games use it is because.... it is expensive. I don't know whether it is actually more expensive than raytracing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is.

Maybe just a language difference? Speaking it in your own language sounds more intimate. Ui mama is her first mama after all.

The Kaasan is a shortening of okaasan (the o- being a general polite form), sort of like mother, or mum. Also slightly more respectful than mama. Mama is the more familiar term that they adopted, which is more closer to how children address their parents, like a nickname. That's also where Vtuber designers get their mama title, in Subaru's case, Ui Shigure.
