The last time Subaru made this kind of announcement was with the Subaru Ascent. I was so excited that I filled out the order request in advance (Mid March) I got mine on July 7 2018. We still have it (limited version) with over 62,000 miles. We just love it. Yes I am a big fan of Subaru after over 20 years of a loyal Toyota customer. I guess I will have to do the same for the Baja 2.4 turbo engine. CVT is not a deal breaker for me but, definitely I would prefer it manual gearshift.

I used to like them until I found out they are fighting “right to repair”. They lost the fight and was told to allow independent shops to repair so what they did was turn off access to on board computers. Some customers were pissed off that they paid for GPS and other things and did not have access

The 2.4 engine in the outback has 260 horsepower. I'm not sure where you received your info from.

Finally, I was devastated that they stopped the STi production. Especially hearing about this new WRX TR which was a waste of time and money. This new STi also looks off the hook if it's going to have 400+ HP 😎😎

...One thing not mentioned in this video is transmission options. If the Brat/Baja is going to be a CVT only proposition, then it's not only a "no" but a "Hell No!!!" These trucks need a proper 6 speed manual. Give me a turbo boxer/ 6 speed rally car that'll haul my mountain bikes and camping gear and I'm all in...

Why do you keep calling them trucks. They are not. They can’t pull crap they can’t haul crap all they can be used for is driving around you may as well buy a SUV so the few things you can put in the back are protected.
