Subaru FORESTER Front & Rear Strut Replacement | 14-18 SJ Struts on 09-13 SH

In this video the daily Forester gets a suspension upgrade with some OEM 14-18 SJ Forester struts!
Torque Specs:
-Front upper strut mount nuts: 14.8 ftlb
-Front lower strut mount nuts: 114.3 ftlbs
-Rear upper strut mount nuts: 22.1 ftlbs
-Rear lower strut mount nut: 88.5 ftlbs
-Rear lower end link nut: 28 ftlbs
-Rear lower control arm outer mount nut: 88.5 ftlbs

I did the same swap when i saw some threads people did it. Only difference i just put rallitek 0 inch for front and 0.5 inch rear litt springs along with 1.5 inch front and 1 7/8 anderson lift kit. Along with a 2015 rear wrx sway bar the forester drives smoother firm. Great install and comparison video:)

@ i went with 1.5 inch front to avoid excessive angle on the cv axles and the 1 7/8 with rear subframe spacer to bring back the geometry. I did have to get whiteline rear control arms to help adjust the camber back to 0. The front sj struts with the adf lift the shop couldnt get it to 0 but slight positive camber. I think some aftermarket camber bolts might provide more adjustment. So far been 1 year on the lift with no issues.

Yeah after doing the lift I still have some positive camber which I blame the SJ struts so I order a set of camber bolts for the lower hole in the strut mount.

@ i have some positive camber as well, was told by shop that it helps more with off roading lol. I also have the sj struts which explains its like ur forester.
