Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Pull on High Compression

Working through some things still but cool weather this thing pulls well! Forged bottom end, destroked, delta 2000 cams, shinji tuned.

Sounds like she's running great! Also sounds like equal length headers? Either way very impressive from a N/A 2.5, it would definitely beat my stock '03 wrx!

It is equal length! I raced a friend of mine from work and he had a stage 2 off the shelf tune from Cobb and he couldn't pull away from me before I went high compression. I am just waiting for this 5 speed to die so I can swap in an sti 6 speed. These 5 speeds aren't great for my driving style!

Destroked to 2.35? I'm currently building the opposite, stroked long rod ej22 to 2.35L with high compression.

@@Aaron2000Subaru damn, that’s crazy. i was hoping to make around what a stock wrx makes. it would definitely take a lot more money tho. i hate that people say the only way to make power in an na is to buy a wrx. turbos are cool but na would be way better. i want a car thats good for twisty roads that i don’t have to keep at like 4500

@@jeffjefferson8137 Im fairly certain delta cams offer camshafts for you vehicle and it would be attainable! Finding a good tuning source would be the next thing.

​@@lokozoa1813how can you even compare your 6 spd manual with a V6 twin turbo and all wheel drive to a flat four naturally aspirated 5 speed also all wheel drive.. anyone can go out and buy a shitsubishi vr4 and run their mouth about how much faster they are but lemme tell you that you're vr4 is nothing special to brag about especially when you are limited to what you can do because there is hardly any platforms for the vr4 and parts are so scarce to find but subarus have endless possibilities and to choose from and every single Subaru out there is unique and personal to the owner.. your vr4 may get to 100mph faster but a Subaru looks and sounds so much better than your raspy Honda sounding generic looking vr4.. you know I'm right yee yees🤣😂😆
