Part 1 review on a rather clean Sti type uk impresa. practically standard at the moment but the owner has some goodies for it and it'll be remapped with anti-lag and launch control. Part 2 will follow in a few weeks.

Good review. Ive owned my stock PPP wide track blob for 4 years now and it’s been an incredible car. My fourth Scooby and by far the best I’ve owned (previously had a classic import, WRX and bug STI). It still feels special driving it and you very rarely see them out and about anymore. Once Scoobys are in your blood they are very hard to shake!

I have owned subaru impreza cars for a long time, turbo, st, WRX , non turbo, brother also has had them. I can tell anyone looking to buy, they are amazing cars. The only down side, they are very very expensive to fix when thing go wrong.

Yeah I agree there, unless you know somebody who is good at fixing them as I do, then obviously it does save you a good amount of money. :)

These car are legend, back in the days like 2000s, thieves use this as the get away. Evo amd sti arr rares and unique back then. To make matter worst about this car was its well taken care inside out. Thats how a car lover should be, not just focus on the power amd trash it.

I have a 06 last of the wide body blob eyes and the tax is crazy £540+ goes up every year. I thinking they will become collector cars at some point. People always put their thumb up or want to buy it. cray number of offers. I'm thinking of a 2.1 stroker kit. It has the MD321 billet turbo.

Owned an sti version 6 and an evo 4 just before it, I preferred the Subaru a lot more if I'm honest. Had many cars over the years but as i rapidly head for 50 I've always wanted a Scooby, maybe it's the mid-life crisis but as my big mate keeps saying I'll not own or drive one in any other life. The smile on your face when driving the one in the upload clip says it all and that's what I'm after, a car that makes you smile.
@SpoolmeUp7127 жыл бұрын

What i noticed about Scooby is they sound so sweet yea and evo is allot faster but I'm a Scooby fan myself i prefer them than the evos they look sexier and more sweet every time you go to change gear like in this video you can hear the hiss sound which is sweet I'm trying to save for 1 myself and buy 1 next year as they should drop down agen in price my sister got me going to save for 1 as they are allot of fun I've owned bmw but prefer subaru as they look real nice when there modified bodykits.

For my first car ima get this when im older i am though because i looked how much insurance would cost. and its £3000 1 off payment! and the car is around £8000 - £18000 (second hand). The problem is i went on insurance websites and i did a mitsubishi evo 6 insurance and it there was no option for evo. sooo i dont think you can even insure that car. So i dont know why there selling it.

+Andy Thach the JDM ones right? Apart from quicker spool is there any other benefit? Thanks
@andythach5527 жыл бұрын
Are you comparing JDM to USDM or? In that case, never driven USDM models but based on what I've read on the internet/blogs/reviews and even on Best Motoring. I've notice JDM redline is 8,000RPM vs USDM 7,000RPM - Due to better cams, bigger ports also JDM corners sharper and crisper from Factory and with the twin scroll turbo, picks up power better and provide better top end.

No no no....cars get fucked by remmaping them and then keep the map on it too long.....manufacturers test any engine for thousands of hours before it's sold to the consumer....the engine's are not tested for that much extra power so whoooooo knows how long a mapped engine will last.
