This video is exactly the correct instruction. I was a little hesitant to tackle it for fear of breaking or scratching something. Not to worry at all. Take your time and watch as many times as needed. Mine fits perfectly. The gauge cluster electrical connector was a bit tricky but after that it was smooth as butter. Totally dresses up and puts the finishing touches on the interior.

I love how detailed this is, great video. Zip ties are amazing lol And I love how you guys include both pieces, a friend of mine just said that he bought one and it didn't come with the bottom plastic so he has a huge gap now.

Thanks for the video sir. Needed to figure out that panel. Never stick those small magnetic sticky phone holders on there and then try goo gone to remove the left behind foam stck with adhesive. It will straight up remove the paint. Now I can just use a wrap and POW! COVERED! By the way no offense but you look like Mark Martel and Tom Brady hahahhahah. It's not a dis to make you feel bad but to make you laugh. Thanks again.

so I followed the instructions successful install. now my airbag light is on. any thoughts?

Never heard of that before, the only possible thing that could really happen is if you didn't reconnect the electrical wires behind the MFD or the vents (Selector switch + Hazard Light)

How would I install it for an Eyesight model? Can I somehow properly remove the upper stock assembly and install only the new upper assembly?

Same here. I have the Eyesight package and from the video it looks like they have to replace the tray assm to make it the deep version that is used for Eyesight models. The upper portion looked like it was just pressed into the "6 tabs" in the video at the 5min mark, if that's the case we should just be able to pull/ pry straight up on the original hood pad to remove and replace it. I guess... LOL!

were you able to figure out? since the upper new cover is bigger than the one came with the car, i guess the lower part is needed

FYI I had some trouble pulling the vents out as shown in the video. I used the pry tool in the lower right side of the vent to loosen it first, making it much easier.

Is this compatible with a 2019 sport Impreza hatchback? I ordered it but I think that it might not work. ON your website it says 2012+ Impreza

My gauge hood did not come with a lower assembly. Can I use the old lower assembly? It's too short as the JDM gauge hood is deeper. Would that be a problem?
