Subaru Outback 3.6R Muffler delete

This is a 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R with the 5speed automatic transmission(5EAT as Subaru calls it)
THe exhaust is just a muffler delete. And in the place of the muffler is a single pipe at 2.5in diameter added from the point where the mufflers are cut off.
The Flat 3.6L engine sounds pretty damn good.

It’s pretty much a Porsche engine. That same engine is used in some.

How is it to drive is it really loud or moderate? I dont want to do it if its noisy as can be

Its actually very moderate. Since its just a muffler delete it only really makes noise when you apply lots of throttle. I went down to 1 exhaust pipe to save weight and it was cheaper than bending two.

This is not a performance engine. It’s basically a larger detuned version of the 3.0 in order to meet emissions and fuel economy reasons. The 3.6R engine is great for different reasons but with that being said, it’s one of the best sounding out there and for everyone crying a 90k Porsche “only” makes around 400hp, sometimes it’s about more than the power. Subaru does a turbo 2l that makes the same as the 3.6r but it doesn’t sound nearly as nice.

It sounds kinda nice, but at 250hp it is all show and no go. Subaru has been in the 250hp arena since the Legacy GT, then through the 3.0R and finally the 3.6R. Totally ridiculous and not a company that I will buy from again until they pull their head out.

The point of the video is for people to hear what it sounds like so they can decide if it is worth their time or not. So as I stated before, what was the point of said comment? That's right, there was no point.
