Subaru Outback XT sound check | 4K

My subaru will be sounding a bit different when I get some new parts in so I wanted to make a video to cherish the way it "used" to sound.
Induction: Cobb turbo inlet, Cobb SF intake, stock turbo, grimmspeed TMIC, GFB BOV 100% recirc
Exhaust: stock UEL headers, Invidia catless dp, 3" magnaflow catback.

Just picked up an OBXT myself this week, I'm pretty let down by how much is NOT available in the aftermarket for the legacy/outback crowd. A whole lot of nothing, unfortunately. How did you get the 3" Magnaflow to fit on there? What was the product name/number as well? I've only been able to find one exhaust that fits the 05 OBXT and thats the nameless performance once. It's upwards of 1500 bucks with shipping.

Congrats on the purchase. These cars are already starting to become rare. The magnaflow catback is from a LGT sedan. It’s a slip fit catback so you can shift it around quite a bit. These cars do have a bit of aftermarket support but nothing like Honda/Toyota/nissan platforms have available.

4th gen outback xt has a lot of parts that are shared with the same model year of wrx. Just the engine has been re-tuned for the outback application. In fact Subaru made the ej255 run much more lean then the wrx version of the same engine. All you really need to do is get a UEL header and a couple of higher flowing axleback mufflers to make your's sound like a wrx. It's what I am doing to mine soon.

Glad you enjoyed it! Engine is EJ255 (2.5). It’s a built motor and I have a couple more parts to put on before I get it tuned next week. Thank you! At the time it had zeal coilovers. Now it has fortune auto 500s, whiteline front/rear sway bars, aluminum front LCA.

Currently, fronts : -2.3R/-1.9L rear: - 2.9R/2.5L Only needed a rear roll on the 255s but I have it on 265 now so it needed major roll and slight pull in rear and full roll in front. Also have it on fortune auto coilovers now so alignment specs will change when it gets corner balanced in a couple weeks

@@DailyDriver. on the 255s just mild rolling but the 265s I had to pull the fenders quite a bit. I also use a 20mm spacer and had to cut the oem studs to sit flush in the spacer.
