I always love a good revival episode, glad you got her running. However, I don't know if it's just your camera, but it sure sounds like there's a lot of valve train noise to me. Does it have good oil pressure?

@2coolwheels139 its the camera. It sounded smooth in person. For some reason it picked up that frequency. I noticed it on video but it sounded fine in person. Idk if they even have traditional style valve trains being a flat 6.

Also from what I'm reading online these guys tick apparently. They are apparently solid style lifters. Idk these are oddballs

Is say congratulations, but those XT6 are tanks. I've owned several. The fluid suspension is actually air ride. It's problematic at the age of these cars. I have a coil swap recipe that works well. I've done it a couple times. Anything else you need to know, just ask. I've been on the XT forums since the 90's, and have had probably 5 or 6 of them.
