26:38 omfg i was about ready to start screaming and throwing shit, god i could feel your pain there, man. that was terrible lol that magnet came in clutch, though. good shit when it comes to dry vs lubed torques, torques are usually specified dry. you can lube threads that call for a dry torque, but just reduce the torque by 25%

Just a heads up man, you put the shifter u joint upside down, it should be flipped. Hopefully that solves your issue. 👍🏼👍🏼

@@sleeper_motorsport Only reason I caught it is because I’m currently putting together a new shifter setup for my STI and went through the same thing of trying to figure it out lol had to look at a lot of photos. Anyways, loving the content so far, not many people showing the GDs love anymore, keep it up. 🙌🏼

MAN IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS! I installed my solid shifter joint and didnt remember what orientation it was supposed to be in. Thanks brother!

@@jackemarleeyoung Glad to help 👍🏼👍🏼 If you look at the shifter when it’s in the correct location, the hole that mounts to the transmission side should be lined up with the shift rod, not offset.
