Subaru Vintage Collection for Subiefest Events 2023

Subaru invited me out for a tour of their vintage/classic car collection in advance of the upcoming Subie Event 2023 season. From the first-generation Justy that holds the land speed record for 1-liter and their beautiful rare GF to Ken Block’s first rally car. We took a closer look at all the vintage vehicles going out on tour.

I bought a 2011 Impreza Outback Sport, and it was delivered Jan. 2nd (the day Ken Block passed away). It's my 2nd Subaru Outback Sport, the previous being a '98. The back of my car has a 43 ghost graffiti sticker for Ken, and a Lasek front plate delete from Kart Boy. I just thought I could share that here, nobody else cares when I tell them.

@6:11 was this first car I ever drove. My oldest brother had one of these in blue. I learned to drive a manual with it and drove it for a while before I bought my first car which was a 86 GL Wagon.

I haven’t watched and I know there’s a first subie rally car and some famed mythical subies, the turbo x, or the land speed justy top my list. Edit : don’t forget stickers add 10% on the top speed car duder. Definitely showin up in July at PIR to meet ya and print a sticker. That’s where I met one of my hero’s, got his signature on a poster still adorning my wall of clarity. KB43VER

I like the spec BRZ which Ken's daughter Lia is rallying this season. SOA needs to setup an entry level rally series using the BRZ to encourage wannabe rally drivers.
