yea the 275 trophy was HUGELY improved lol.. 265 megane NBR lap time 8:07.95 whilst the 275 Trophy did 7:54 WHAAAT!!! WRX STI gen4 did 8:06 bahahahah with 400NM and 310 fookin horses Megane ruined it with alot less power and TQ and lets face it NBR is the REAL test here.. 154 corners making it like driving on the street and a track cause there are so many different corners..

As an owner of 2 Subaru's (one 2005 UK spec WRX, and my current 2008 GB270) I have to say that they are the best cars for performance, reliability and driveability in my opinion. In the past I have owned a 2007 Golf GTI ED30 with the auto DSG gearbox and launch control, a Ford Focus ST170 and even an Evo 8, but for me none of them can compare to the Subaru as an all round car. The AWD system in the Subaru's make the car a dream to drive as it grips the road as though it were running on rails and the performance is more than enough to humiliate most hot hatch drivers, I will admit that the interior is completely inferior to that of the Golf, but why would you pick a car with a nicer interior for one that drives faster, handles better, is probably more reliable and looks/ sounds more aggressive? For me it will always be a tried and tested Subaru WRX, only I would have to have a new model with a high level rear spoiler like the UK spec has.

All true. I am from a tropical nation and the European cars are way less reliable and repairs and maintenance much more expensive. The subaru wrx awd is so stable and so capable that all other brands in this same tier will be of no challenge in cornering. Even Munich BMWs dare not challenge subaru WRXs in a street urban race as around corners they'll be wrecked whilst the subaru will out turn at speed like a Porsche around bends. Fast in fast out

I'd have thought with the Scooby being 4WD, they'd have put a Golf-R MK6 up against it. And with a beefed-up Diff/KW V3 Anti-Roll-Bar Kit/KW V3 Coil-overs, then couple it with an Uprated-Fuel Pump & APR Stage:3 tune up averaging roughly 480bhp....the golf would destroy all-comers:)....

I have a 2016 mk7 gti autobahn with performance package and driver assistant, car cost me 37k so obviously money was not a problem , look the was the gti feels , the interior , the seats , the audio , the technology is unmatchable but any Subaru, Honda , ford is just in another level, mind you , you don't wanna mess with these mk7 like mine once you are on some michelin pilot super sport tires and apr stage 2 .

Horrible review. The Megane RS is by far the fast around the track. A fairer comparison would be against the WRX STI, but even that struggles against the RS. Also horrible driving by both of you.

I don't understand people who complain about interior, leather seats an audio system will, what else do you really need, cars are about the feel and drive, they weren't designed to be like a Rolls Royce Phantom? Now that's not to say cars shouldn't have tech but I don't see the point, "keeping up with the times" isn't an option and in all fairness it's more stupid shit you paid for to go wrong, Subaru invests it's time more into the drive compared to the tech, completely different cars and depends on your personality, for people who appreciate what a car is supposed to be, go subaru, the WRX can handle track, dirt and on the road in any condition (snow or mud), its AWD system helps it, not apple car play.
