That moment with the kid had me in tears. What a wholesome and wonderful thing to do for that dad and his son, plus a new record to boot? Amazing, well done Travis!

Travis is one year older than me. So when I was a little kid racing dirt bikes I looked up to him. As a teen in freestyle motocross I really looked up to him. Now as an adult, a father, a rally and Subaru enthusiast I have admired Travis for his accomplishments and attitude for almost 30 years. He doesn’t have to swear or put on an act to be cool. He has a genuine attitude and an incredible amount of skill and focus and drive. He’s been my favorite athlete for most of my life and I really hope that someday I can meet him. What a great run, and a special thing to run up the mountain with those ashes.

Man... What an incredible episode. I'll never forget watching the World Record run the day it was released and being in complete awe of what had just taken place before my eyes! But to see this in depth video, and hearing the story of taking the ashes of that poor man's deceased son up the mountain with him takes it to a whole different level. That has to had made this even more special for Travis and the team. Great job, and congrats to everyone involved. This was beautiful ❤

Been a massive Fan of Subaru, Colin McRae and Prodrive since 1993 and owned only Subaru for 19 years. I thought my passion for Subaru in Motorsport had died until David Higgins and Craig Drew joined VSC. Then my love for the name exploded again. But I didn’t think someone could replace Higgins and Drew after they left. But thankfully Travis was there again to keep my passion alive. And that my friend became more than just Power, Speed, Aero and the likes and all went out the window after you agreed to take Alec’s ashes up the Mountain. Massive respect to the Team, Travis organisers and Alec’s Family. That was amazing to watch 👏👏👏👏 RIP Alec 🏆

I was on the OTHER SIDE OF MOUNT WASHINGTON!!! The day this happened I was on vacation with my buddies to go hiking, and the day after we drove the mountain road and I took pictures with the Subaru trailers. I MISSED HISTORY! I took this as a sign in my life that im close to my goal to be as close to Subaru motorsports as possible. If anyone at Subaru reads this, I would've been there. I swear I didn't mean to miss this 💔 CONGRATS TRAVIS! This was huge huge huge!!

I can sympathize with Alecs father, Travis and the team are amazing people. My BIL was going through cancer treatment the winter prior to this event. They stopped to watch Travis do some practices. Travis got word of my BILs situation and he made it a priority to go and visit him in his home later that day. It truely made his day at a low point in his life. Two weeks before Mt Washington, my BIL passed away. I wanted to thank Travis for stopping in and visiting him and my sister, but didnt get the chance to since we were on the Mt that day and didnt have time to stop by the pits. I know it was a special moment for them.
