To be honest, I could see Vlad joining the Empire forces during the end times, not only because the alliances there are bonkers enough, but also because he has always seen the empire as his land, so it would be in his interest to defend it against chaos

Maybe I got my understanding of the lore wrong, but doesn't he want be become Emperor because he knew shit was about to get real for Warhammer and the Empire needed a strong charismatic central leader to get the provinces in line and who wouldn't be as easy to assassinate as a regular human? Other than that he was content with Sylvania.

@@jebnordost7487 If i remember right, he was brought back by Nagash to help secure an alliance with the Empire against Chaos by helping/influencing Gelt. If Vlad was successful in this, Nagash would bring him back Isabella (who I guess he didn't know at the time that she was already brought back to unlife by nurgle deamon ?).

Thing is i think order gets good buffs from tech tree’s. Chaos etc dont get huge upgrades mostly army whole ones not per unit. Like empire can buff their swordsman and spear alot Specialy defense. Dwarfs are just shitty tbh. Feels like order are good obly with campaign buffs. But could be bias since evil are just op rn wel chaos mostly and here skaven guns are best ranged u can get

@@SilentSpringz they dont need it from a campaign perspective, no but thematically it would make sense and it would be nice to equalize the playing field a bit even if it isnt army abilities factions like dwarves, empire, wood elves, etc deserve unique battle mechanics imo even if its just passive abilities like wah, realm of souls , etc. That being said idk what they could/would do while still retaining balance

This is peak Warhammer. These are Warhammer battles as they should be in the lore: Giant monsters charging, sending enemies flying, loud warmachine striding trough the battlefield, formations of soldiers clashing, shouting orders and warcries, fire and smoke from guns and cannons mixed with that of the hellish demons, projectiles and magic engulfing the sky with all the colors of battle. Truly total war.

I gotta say, this was probably my favorite battle you've had on this channel. Like a Sub-commanders battle of the End Times. Maybe it's too much to ask, but I wish we could have these kinds of battles in Singleplayer IE campaign. That would be a great addition to the game overall, a massive alliance battle between multiple factions would be epic on more than just a 1-off standing battle. An idea comes to mind though. Kind of run an End Times back-back tournament, where you have Commanders and Sub-Commanders in a roster, and let two sides decide to duel it out. If a Commander or Sub-Commander dies in battle, they can't use them further on in the tournament. Makes committing SE Lords and Heroes a lot more dangerous. I feel like it would be super complicated and there'd be a lot of details to iron out, and it'd take a long time. But it'd be awesome to watch. Anyway, like always, your content is dope and I appreciate the time and effort you put in Indypride.

the dwarf player rushed without ranged support and leaving the ranged exposed, again and again, his reckless rushing made it easy for the chaos force to isolate the single entities. idk what the Brit cav did, couple of time saw them getting thrashed hard, and without support & zoned out, only player who carried the game was the vampire...overall good performance from all in the chaos side.

Other units may have been the actual MVPs in terms of output, but the Ratling Gunners definitely took the cake for the most visually obvious contributors…got to fire almost freely the entire time, and you could TELL when their targets were getting torn up

The rules were pretty loose here with normal funds and instructions to bring just a few chaff units for the sake of the video/having things to kill...though since it was for a recording we didn't go absolutely cutthroat with both unit comp and focus firing for the sake of cinematics. I already thought how cool this could be in a tournament style but I think for the sake of time and content it might need to be 3 person teams and most games played offline (could cast a few if all connections are checked in advance).

team battles are really not a good live environment for streaming, unfortunately. TW infrastructure forces slowdowns based on the weakest computer and internet connection in the chain. So all it takes is one subpar computer in a 3v3 or 4v4 and the whole game lags. replays just work better for this and sieges

Yessss! I have an older gaming laptop but it's on SSD with GTX 1060 and it's totally fine with my fiber internet (900+ mb up and down). During the actual game it ran very well! Honestly, I find connections to be the most important aspect over graphics in most situations albeit you can fix some people's lag issues with graphics adjustments.
