Is this the best method a company wants to purchase components from one vender but shipped to a second vendor for further processing which is then shipped back to the company?

in reception you have quality control. If you ship directly from supplier to the vendor you miss this step.

What if the components are ones we manufacture in house prior to shipping them to a subcontractor for additional operations and they are not in stock already. I have them set up for MTO with a 14 day lead time. How do I get Odoo to schedule the manufacturing orders to be prior to the date I need to ship the products to the subcontractor?

i tried this in V15 but I got 3 resupply bookings instead of one, what did i wrong?

probably 3 different lines in the subcontracting PO. 1 item = 1 ressuply, even if the item is the same.
