chopping is awesome when done right. what bothers me most with this style of mixing is the lack of tension and release. the entire mix is basically one long track. and a lot of the doubles in this mix in particular are way too busy and sound jumbled and muddy. some guys pull it off beautifully but this was just not pleasant to listen to 🫤 and I love Subfiltronik
