This video is for anyone who wants to get started on the Moog Subharmonicon as quickly as possible. This video will give you need to make polyrhythms using the subharmonics in under 10 minutes.
Ive also added some hints and tips to keep your workflow tight, meaning you will be able to patch the Dfam, mother 32 and Grandmother to your polyrhythm sooner!
BTW: this is what worked for me, I'm sure there are many other ways to get started, but this is the best IMHO.

This video, for the first time, gave me the confidence that I might be able to wield my Subharmonicon one day. Thank you.

Thanks Wrenchposting, I found exactly that problem when I got it, I only have a passing music theory knowledge (just a bit more than a bloke off the street) but that shouldn't stop anyone finding happy accidents on this thing!

The Sub is just weird, you just gotta spend some time playing to really enjoy it. It’s not a beginners synth at all. I got mine on first release, preorder months before. Fine synth, but it’s a Moog too!

Has Moog updated the firmware to make the sequencer longer than 4 steps? I thought that was going to be a thing. That's been keeping me from picking one up.. I have an Oberheim TwoVoice with 8 step sequencer and, regarding polyrhythms, being able to do 5 or 7 steps that loop around in an off-kilter pattern is where the magic happens. 4 Steps won't cut it. Thanks for the clear cut video regardless.

Great video. At 8:23 you add the second rhythm generator to sequencer 2. When I do this it changes the rhythm of sequencer 1 aswell! Do you know why?

The 4-step thing is a bummer. Starts becoming repetitive too fast. Great tutorial but I would have to drive it with an external sequencer via CV. Moog should make a SubH "Pro" or "v2" with 8 steps. Your content was good tho!

Your a Genius...I put it in my rack but never looked at it the way you just did. You put a whole new dimensional spin on the synth. That’s so awesome! Love your videos.
