I tried to buy a home that had a subject to sale offer and they waived the condition without selling their home after the time clause was triggered. We were stretching our budget on the place so it was for the best

I am thinking about selling my current 1 year old house in Vancouver and buy an older house on a bigger lot in Burnaby for tear down. But the process of finding the right buyer and the right lot at the same time is kinda daunting to me.

I didn't realize there was such a thing, i figured you had to have the $$ lined up to make an offer. Why would the buyer accept and have to wait?

I took a ‘Subject to Sale’ last Summer 2024. Very Slow Market. Listed for 3 months. That was my Only Offer on the Table. The Sale did go thru.
