I purchase mostly from Houston Acrylic however I do purchase the sublimation acrylic from Johnson Plastic Plus

Hey there! I use A-Sub paper for sublimation on white acrylic. When I take the acrylic out of the heat press and let it cool down, the image on the acrylic is dull and doesn’t look shiny. Anything you would recommend to have the acrylic shiny?

you're using a similar white cast acrylic? I know when I use different paper I can sometimes get dull results. A-sub seems to work fine for me though. What are your heat press settings?

@@ShootingStarSVG Thanks for getting back to me. I had white cast acrylic from Houston Acrylics. I changed the paper to Hiipoo sublimation paper and it is great. Now I don't have the isses I did before. Now I add Aleene's Glossy Spray and the cake toppers look great. I use 380 for 60 seconds. I also loosened the heat press pressure a little less as well.

I’d love to see this on clear, too! I tried and the sublimation paper stuck to the acrylic and was a massive pain to get it off…and the clear was cloudy after that.

I'll get some video of the clear this week. I did it with some photos and it came out well but it generally has a "cloudier" look to it. I will say I find A Sub paper works best for me and ink may play a factor as well. Either way I'll get one up soon!
