I used to Play the EA Sports NHL Franchines a lot and the Guitar riffs reminded me of that. Then when you came i wihtthe video game style keys I smiled. Then the breakdown and everything after was just an artist being an artist. I liked this a lot.

Thanks dude. I am influenced a lot by older video game music too, although I never played that game franchise. Nice one! Thanks!

Damn man, that was sick. LOVED that opening riff. I gotta be honest, even though I love your intro music to your reaction vids I'd never bothered to sit down & listen to any of the songs you've done yourself. I now feel shame and will spend the next couple of hours remedying that mistake, because that was awesome. You sure have an ear for a tasty riff. Do you play the drums on your music or is that done on the computer? They fit in great. Random reaction question: Have you listened to Polyphia yet? I see that you haven't reacted to them, and if you haven't listened to them yet then I highly recommend that you give them a shot. Some of the most ridiculously talented musicians I've ever heard, and even though the music is crazy technical, it's still accessible enough that an average Joe like me can enjoy it. Like you, those guys are just wired for great music.
@JWSoundworks22 жыл бұрын
Hey dude, really happy to hear you enjoy my stuff. Thank you! I play the drums in on my keyboard and then tweak/edit them with the mouse using the midi information from the performance. As for Polyphia, yeah man, I've been a big fan of them for years now. Actually caught them live several years back, and they were note perfect. Astounding musicians!

Sound good to my ear. The sound like theme song before you start reaction. But a bit different. If I not wrong
@JWSoundworks22 жыл бұрын
Thank you. This was written and recorded back in 2016 for my ep Our Own Architects. But I recently muted all of the original instrument tracks that you see me playing in this video and recorded them again live for this. If you listen to the original version you'll hear a few differences, especially the ending (link in YT description). The reaction theme song was written last year in the same sort of style.
@dudeksuparto68702 жыл бұрын
@@JWSoundworks2 OK. Because I watch and hear your music three times in a row. To make me sure that your music sounds like a theme song. BTW thank you for your music

Hey, Jen Majura just called, she wants her guitar back :P. Very cool track! Where did you study music? I also went to music school and the biggest thing I gained was the time spent on the instruments but not so much any sort of theory or magical connection to music through theory analysis. This seems to go far beyond what any structured program could teach. Subscribed!
@JWSoundworks2 Жыл бұрын
Hi man, I studied classical piano for years with a highly respected piano teacher in Dublin, Ireland. But apart from that I am just self taught on guitar/drums and composition/production etc. Your words are some of the kindest comments I've ever received. So thank you very much for that. Have you any examples of your playing I could listen to? Cheers!
