This show gets me more and more each time I check it out. The past 4 months has been a whirlwind of emotions for me, as I am sure it has been for many of you reading this. I never got the chance to see Sublime and I have regretted it since that day… I have been a pretty loyal 311 fan most of my life and besides those champs and my unhealthy love for Phish ⭕️Sublime has always been a huge part of my life. I will admit that I never gave Rome a chance and as much as I loved LBDAS and the short bus, I haven’t felt like I was ever going to be able to connect with this band on a real level. Like the Beatles or or other bands that were long gone by the time I arrived. Sublime is the one that I could’ve made happen at 13 but we never know what tomorrow is going to bring. Anyway, his son and the fundraiser to the Coachella sets and now having a couple weeks to reflect and enjoy the new reincarnation, my love and interest for sublime is insane. I feel like we won the lottery of life as sublime fans. His kid has sooo much talent and I cannot wait to watch him grow with his fathers best friends and bring us what we never imagined we would have. Sublime with Nowell!!! That was a rant for me but I need to let the world know that Sublime is back and we are going to be in for a really fun ride!!! Saw Red with Gwen is now back on the bucket list 😂 I love it

Dude sublime was never a studio track band live. There were sometimes imperfections and also a shit load of improvisation. That’s just how they did it. Brad was a fucking genius song writer and they just rolled with it. So what if he was fucked up, addiction sucks.
@tylerkarpik33549 ай бұрын
@@cesnav7593 Jakob partied for awhile but straighten up pretty quick. He's been a sober dude aside from still smoking cigarettes. But not even drinking or pot anymore. I think the mess ups of the lyrics could be nerves, but as well semi intentional knowing even his dad would mess up a ton. He grew up with hearing the songs, it's basically his only connection he had left from a father he never formally knew.

Seeing Jakob sing his dad's song just does something to my soul. Just pure light and happiness in my heart for this band and everything they been through. I remember being a kid in the early 90s and we had the most incredible era of rock music in my lifetime. Grunge music was on fire during this time. I remember when i used to skate and bmx, and older kid drove a white van. We'd load our bikes into the van and pile in. He popped in the 40oz to freedom cassette. Whoa! I didn't know what i was listening to. Bradley's singing in Spanish, reggae, rock, and sounds ive never heard of. Their music didn't fit into what was going on at the time. This must have been 1993-94 or maybe even 95. Sad what occurred. It breaks my heart that Father-son were separated from each other. The music was and is amazing, but id rather of never had it if he could still be here. I would love to see Jakob and Sublime play. The kid is really good.

I grew up listening to them throughout my entire childhood cause of my parents, my mom got to see Sublime in a dive bar in Florida with like 300 people, and at the groove tube show that you can see on KZbin! My parents got together because my mom heard my dad listening to Sublime in his car outside of school on day. Rome was good and all, and I got to even see them live this past summer, but without bud the band just isn’t it anymore, and now WE GET BUD AND VOCALS FROM BRADLEY’S OWN FUCKIN KID?
