Subliminal message found in Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 music

ME and my old pal used to rip sounds from games when we were younger and use them in Octamed and stuff. We found this one and were blown away at the time, we felt like we'd discovered a new planet or something. Great to hear it again!

I knew about the sample when looking at it on Impulse Tracker but I didn't know it was actually used in one of the patterns, huh. Pretty neat sneak of audio by Barry Leitch. ;)

Negative suggestions don't work. "Don't copy this game" is like "Don't think about a zebra!" The negative won't register, we only hear "Copy this game!". Besides, the message was too quiet to register, even subconsciously. It might have worked with better technique, and a message like _"Go buy this game!"_ :-) Toyota named a car model around the subliminal message: "I go buy Toyota"!

It didn't work, I had copied versions of all 3 Lotus games. Great games though

Does anyone know if what I read about this is true it was supposedly a quote from one of the designers who claimed it originally said "you must kill mommy and daddy" but they quote "didnt have the balls to put that in the final game"
