The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't, by subtracting where it is, from where it isn't, or where it isn't, from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance sub-system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position where it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event of the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has required a variation. The variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too, may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computance scenario works as follows: Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is, however it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vice versa. By differentiating this from the algebraic sum og where it shouldn't be, and where it was. It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called "air"

Park it next to the yacht and sink it just below water so it's off the radar. Then use Toreador to enter and exit and never have to rise it up (unless you want to launch a missile)

Get the Pegassi Toreador, the new version of the Stromberg. It's really good at taking out the submarines and Oppressor MKIIs. Plus, it takes 6 missile to blow it up and has no icon on the map.

Since I bought the Rockets I decided to make the money back by collecting bountys with it, so far I got 53 People with 310k in bountys. I'm slowly working my way up to the 1.9 Mill I gladly wasted and I do not regret it. Edit: I just reached the 1 million in bountys.

I wanted to share that, During the preps setup for the heist, You can actually use fast travel to the nearest target to destroy the buzzer using this cannon. Very useful and solo friendly. I tried it for few times, just need practice for accuracy.

what i do when taking out ground targets is stay at altitude before you get close to them on the map then aim down towards the player like a tomahawk missile. that way the players barely see it coming and have less time to react and can barely defend against it. the only down side to this is the rendering distance of on foot players means you have to stay committed to the strike because on console you cannot turn quickly. if the target is in a vehicle they render in much sooner plus you can usually spot them as moving faster than traffic, type of vehicle, running reds and most always have neon under glow or upgraded lights, all things you should use to help spot your target. as soon as you have confirmed your target you can start making adjustments early to your flight path in order to intercept your target. always try to stay just in front of moving vehicles rather than hitting them directly. that way the target will drive into the explosion which has a nearly 100% success rate. blowing up along side them or directly on them may not work due to latency. also the potential for near by collateral damage with other exploding vehicles will cause more damage to armoured vehicles than a direct hit (you should only directly hit armoured vehicles if they are on there own). if timed right exploding just before you hit the ground will cause a lager damage radius too, but you should practice the aiming of the missiles and become good at that before you try to implement that. i have a over 200 player kills with the guided missiles and it is my favourite passed time as well as tool to deal with griefers. I hope my tips help people and thank you for taking the time to read this.

It seems the missile will sometimes bug out when hitting a moving air vehicle and wont do any damage at times. At least from my tests. I hit a moving frogger dead on and it lived

Recreating the “BBC Baghdad Cruise Missile” footage is supremely fun. Buzzing the ground at “on the deck” altitudes takes a lot of skill on console. Also, the shitty console handling, plus the small blast radius (relative to it’s damage), means that console missiles are fairly balanced. Urban environments are more or less all you need to survive all but the most skilled submarine crew. Even Paleto Bay was enough. This is because map-guiding them isn’t enough, you NEED visual contact to accurately hit targets. Buildings confuse that issue enough that, combined with the stupidly small Minimap scale for the missiles, means you need a very good idea of your target’s location. Preferably a friendly player marking the target with a flare.

“Needless to say, pretty much no aircraft will survive getting hit by one of these.” Now you SAY that, but at least for me on Xbox, the rockets tend to be buggy, I’ve gotten two hits on a Sparrow, one on the tail, one on the side, and it was still flying, and once on top of a hydra vertically taking off, and it WAS STILL FLYING. these were direct hits too, I didn’t manually blow the missile, I hit the aircraft and the rocket blew itself up. I don’t know if it’s latency or what, but aircraft seem to be able to shrug these off fine if they’re moving even slightly.

I would suggest firing the missiles nearly submerged or fully submerged and then move to avoid detection from other players and cops. A shoot and scoot or a hit and run tactic so after you fire your missile, you move away from the area you once were and then fire in another spot.

Plus you forgot to say that there are two stations for them so if you are alone you can fire a missile blow it up and use the other station to launch another missile while the first station reloads that way you can almost launch as many missiles as you want

Had a few interesting things happen in my own test. While flying the RO-86 the missile detonated early before it hit the tail for unknown reasons while directly over a submarine, was unable to destroy the missile in a console public lobby, and some vehicles recieve a lock on warning if its nearby.

I bought this last night I didn’t feel like grinding for money but instead gave a lobby PTSD 😂 I clipped the same guy 3 times in a minute with guided won a battle with an oppressor mk2 on the scope…someone had a Khanjali tank out that turned into burnt toast vs guided lastly someone tried taking me on in a submarine battle..that didn’t end well for them either the Kosatka can easily be an solo deleting weapon without teammates. I can’t even imagine what it will be like to team up with others. 😅

By themselves, they take a little bit of skill to use and kill with... obviously downing jets and oppressors is very difficult, but for ground targets across the map... these are very strong. Little known fact is that you can use thermal on these missiles, similar to the dirtbags who use thermal on jets, and this basically makes it impossible to miss a ground target as you can see their orange square from a mile out instead of draw distance popping them into existence with only half a second to react.

I tried it out on my friend's new bomber plane that came with this update. He got scared when I moved it right up behind him and asked ''Is that a guided missile?!'' to me and I kept chasing him with it. Downside is its limited range because if you go too far then you lose the connection.

you can make it harder for people to shoot the missiles down by just coming from a higher angle of attack. this may make it a little more difficult to hit your target, but you can counter this by using thermal goggles to help you see your target.

Little life hack: Park your sub beside(or behind) your yacht, turn on defenses on yacht. if someone comes near, they’ll get blown out of the sky.

Yacht defenses only work if you're on the yacht itself. So unless you've got a friend who doesn't mind chilling on your yacht while you fire missiles from the sub, this won't work for defending yourself

On Ps4 it's pretty hard to hit people with it unless they are standing still and isn't anything in the way.. but once people start getting good at it, it could be very OP but I don't think too many will get that good where it will be a huge issue. The sub is pretty weak. By the time they move from the rocket seat to the driving seat and submerge an oppressor can talk you out pretty quick. So unless you play with multiple people it definitely has its weak moments.

If you are on foot, its very easy to defend against, just grab a gun of your choice and shoot it out, but when you are in un-armoured vehicles, they become very overpowered. Especially helicopters, they may as well be defenceless against the missiles . Your best bet is to jump out. I also discovered that you do not need a friend to double the fire rate of the missiles, simply launch one, and when you are done with it, get out the seat and switch to the other. Also, the submarine has very disappointing armour for what it is. one run from a hydra or laser and your gone. Also takes a miserable amount of missiles to destroy too. anyway, Like your content, have a good day! *Edit: I know it takes a fair few missiles, its just so big, and is very easy to destroy.*

On console these things are balanced. Things don't render in fast enough to really see your target half the time and even then final adjustments are tough with the slow turn speed. Bigger targets are very easy to hit however the sub itself is such an easy target so as soon as I take out a target, they respawn and take out the sub from shore before I can fire another missile or run to the control panel and crash dive the sub. With a second person it would be easy however when the submarine surfaces just mark its location and go strafe the area. You can lock on and fire missiles at the sub even when it's off the radar and underwater. If you can't then strafe the water with the cannon. Either the sub with all of its crew will have to wait for you to leave or they'll risk surfacing and you've got an easy target. (Fast travel the sub and fire to counter this but good luck hitting a jet on console thats actively hunting you and knows the missile is coming.) Also I still want these on the alkonost, or a least a version that doesn't have propulsion so it's more of a guided bomb...also the pilot should be able to use them and keep the plane on auto pilot. The plane is such a big aircraft its no problem for me to find them visually and they won't be doing any evasive maneuvers or know um coming if they're in their own missile. Also the vehicle we choose should be available for support in the cayo perico heist. If we arrive in the bomber then we should be able to call in bombing runs, if we're in the sub we should be able to tell Pavel to fire a missile on a map waypoint (not an airstrike flare). This would make things more interesting as they wouldn't really be powerful but definitely fun to use. The very least they could do is remove the cost of the support crew. So having the bomber means your pilot will do airstrikes for free and not Charlie for $10k.

Parking my submarine next to my yacht with yacht defenses on is awesome!!! Just gotta make sure anytime you kill a civilian with a missile and you get a wanted level, it will turn off yacht defenses so just make sure to turn them back on. Only think that can kill you for the most part pretty much is another submarine or watercraft...

Counter to this thing is hydra and lazer. That can easily blow the submarine and missile. But this missile is a BRUTAL anti mk2 weapon.

How fast you can turn the missile on PC actually depends on your sensitivity so you can make a 180 turn almost instantly. This even breaks the sound the missile makes
