1.) Remove torpedo homing altogether. 2.) Give subs realistic speeds. 3.) Give sub torpedoes realistic speeds & range. 4.) Give DDs "Hedgehog" ASW weapons. 5.) Give other ships countermeasures like noisemakers or something to draw torpedoes away.

Remove subs all together. Wargaming told us there would never be subs in the game, it was to be a surface ship combat only with Carriers, Battleships, Cruisers and Destroyers.

@@artwingtonr.4647 True. But I was banking on the most obvious fix being the most disregarded one to be honest. So noisemakers would be a backup in case removing the homing torpedoes wasn't going to happen.

Ты просто не понимаешь психологии. У меня на 190-й 80% побед. Я беру под контроль центр и начинаю метить всех подряд. Вражеская команда разбегается в панике, подставляясь под удары артиллерии. А этот бой довольно слабый. В начале октября никто не понимал, как противодействовать лодкам. Выходил простой, безнаказанный расстрел врагов.

WG should make play mode by select a room like BattleField 5 player can select enemy and mode of war they want most player hate Sub, but me not but I very very hate 2CV in a single match

Playing a sub is so damn hard, getting constant flak from your team for not doing enough/what they think you should be doing... I've turned off all chat just to concentrate on playing. I'm watching videos frequently, playing ONLY sub, nothing else, and most matches I'm lucky just to score pings let alone a hit. One match in 5 I get actual torpedo hits even when being patient, well lined up and a double ping, still, missing frequently. Further, you get accurate torpedos - boom your team mate sinks that ship before your torpedos get there... Right now, I absolutely cannot understand why people say subs are OP when every match I am in it's rare to see even the enemy subs get kills. I'm going to keep learning and trying, and in the meantime, keep team chat switched off - too much toxicity.

I think any complaints or references to realism in this game should simply be stopped. It’s a game..with as much stuff to make it as real as we can get and still be a 20 min. game fun for everyone. The list of how it isn’t realistic could fill pages and the game would bore us all to death.

Of course this is also the sad reason why your comment only has my upvote, the loudest voices are "you broke the game" rants. Same crap was spoken with the perk revamp, before that same crap was spoken on CVs, same crap was spoken about dds, and so on and so forth yadi yadi yada. Ppl always did and always will complain about changes putting blame on everything under the sun but themselves. 50% of the fault for a win or a loss is your fault, the other 50% is your team. Here Mighty Jingle's words reverberate the truth "It's not about being in a good team, it's about being in a slightly less sh..t team" and the "slightly less sh..t" is the difference *YOU* can make alone. Play your role, don't over/under-extend, don't tunnel vision, respond to teammates, use your consumables wisely, cooperate with the team to nullify threats and your team is 1/11 less sh..t. Remember, the sub counterplay is simply cooperating, if your subs and dds spot and others launch ASW in cooperative manner subs will be countered. The only thing subs really changed is the meta that is now even more directed towards cooperation, the one thing a team game is supposed to be about the one thing sh..ty selfish complainers hate and then ruin comment sections over.

Nothing too spectacular here. Having a Tier 8 sub in a group with tier 9 and 10's is hardly dangerous to the player. I feel sorry for the player in a tier 8 surface ship that gets stuck in a group with higher tiered ships.
