Submissive urination is a common concern with puppy owners. It is caused by your puppy being over excited or submissive, or both, when greeting a person or animal. Luckily this typically goes away on its own by a year of age, but here are two solutions to help decrease submissive urination (sometimes called excited urination) in puppies. Usually puppies that have this problem grow into nice adult dogs. whatever you do, DO NOT SCOLD YOUR PUPPY. This will make the submission and urination increase.
