@@blizzard5475 Yes it is, why else would the red plague have both air vehicles? I am fairly certain the air vehicles are part of the red plague and released to the Public as a part of the mod. I could be wrong, but you don't have proof as to who the red plague dev is compared to the air vehicles dev. The red plague hasn't even been released to the public yet.

A game can live way more its expected time if it has mod, the game has both a good company and community that can make incredible thing. I imagine in the future maybe a ball shaped ufo veicle that can work both outside and inside water and maybe a jatpack too for building up outside of water easier. The creature mods adds more to the exploration aspect, even I find the dunes barren a bit and put some crabsnakes or bonesharks. I also think the way you can plant plants underwater outside of your base could be improved to make more beautiful bases.

Iunno maybe I'm just some sorta Subnautica boomer (Been playing since like, Pre-Prawn suit, Pre-Sea Emperor), but some of these mods I look at and I just go "...Why-?" Don't get me wrong, De-Extinction is fantastic, I love new fauna, I love new challenges and I love new lore, but then you show me 'private jet in Subnautica' And suddenly I'm like "okay it's funny but why, what's the point here?"...I mean I know WHY it exists cuz it's from Red Plague which in itself is a fever dream of a mod (In a good way! I CANNOT wait for it to see official release to see you cover it!) and it makes sense in context, but the standalone mod I just struggle to think of a use case, heheh. At least the gliding Seamoth is like "You can quickly fly out of the water and use the surface to look for landmarks" if you don't know the map well enough! ...Gosh, listen to me babble, it's a mod, who cares how practical it is!? Petition to make the Aurora pilotable, sky's the limit, who's with me?! >:D

I personally find a lot of the mods have quite a lot of jank to them which takes me out of it when I encounter the new modded creatures. I know it's usually just like one dude making all these so I'm not saying they SHOULD be ultra polished like the vanilla creatures that had a team work on them.... I'm just saying for me they're always anticlimactic compared to how they're advertised. Example in this video is at 4:00 cos you expect this terrifying attack where it grabs your ship or somet but instead it just swims at you with it's model clipping through the window as a roar sound effect loops like 4 times.

As a fan of Subnautica AND Flight simulator both. The private jet is just perfect. Only thing needed is a detailed cockpit and an additional proper runway that you can build in the habitat builder.
