Subnautica Part 30 - Is it really supposed to be this hard? Or am I really this dumb?

Stasis rifle fragments are in the seabed, safe shallows, Kelp forest, wrecks, and the floating islands and glowing bulbs area. You can craft it in the fabricator, but you can do without it at this stage. It's best for the deeper areas of the planet. Build the Modification fragment so you can upgrade your gears and vehicles. If you're lucky and find my time capsules, I always leave a stasis rifle, a heatblade, and a propulsion cannon

Congratulations on getting the moon pool! And don't worry, we've all had that "Shit! Why is my base flooding?" moment. I can't remember if you've found blueprints for the vehicle upgrade console, but if you have, it needs to be built on a wall of the moon pool.

Last night, I played and looked all over the 2nd island. I even cheated and watched a video that said the stasis rifle is in boxes by the mud slide base. My game doesn't have those boxes...... is there somewhere else they could be?

@@PAWPAWPLAYS Sure, you've got a few options I believe there's one fragment beside the "proposed Degasi habitat" at 250m (pink mushroom cave), outside the structure on the ground, almost underneath it. It's definitely available at the wreck in the underwater floating islands (head towards the gun island, just before you get there, bear left and head down in what looks like a huge open space. There are a LOT of sharks, so keep your lights off to avoid attracting them). There's a wreck between two of the islands with a lot of late-game blueprints. Last one I'm aware of is the wreck in the bulb zone (head towards the front of the aurora but hug the ocean floor, keep going down past the mushroom trees). There's a wreck hanging over the edge of a cliff there (close to lifepod 12 if you have that marker). Stay low as there are reapers near the surface. There's also a way to just outright cheat and magically unlock it if you get sufficiently frustrated. Shout if you want instructions for that.

There's at least one in a wreck at the underwater floating islands (head towards the gun island, bear left just before you get there and keep heading into what looks like a large open space until you see suspended islands). There are a LOT of sharks, so kill your lights to avoid attracting them and park somewhere unobtrusive (or be ready to repair). (NB: Some late game wrecks have passaged blocked by debris, so a pro/repulsion cannon can be useful). Another one's at the a wreck in the bulb zone (head towards the front of the aurora but hug the ocean floor, head down and a little left, past the mushroom trees and you should find it in an area with big purple bulbs. The wreck is on a cliff and it's close to lifepod 12 if you have that marker) There may be others but those are the ones I'm aware of. There's also a way to just outright cheat and unlock the blueprint if you get sufficiently frustrated (shout if you want those instructions).
