Going above 100% food means you overate :) Like in real life. Not possible with water though. I think there are some diminishing returns. You can get to 125% food easily but as more you eat the less it grows.

so it seems like animation cancelling the storages and neptune panels was not allowed, but overlapping the ion cube pickup with placing the precursor key was? what's the deal with that?

Because it doesn't cancel the tablet animation, you still watch it in full
