this song was created in the response to haters of asians, when they won billboard o ama award (dont remember exactly), people were posting racist comments like: they have to go back to north korea, i didnt know that north korea let their people to travel, plastic surgery boys, i hate them and many others. it was very disgusting. you can find this timing (and timing for other significant songs) in the fanmade documentary series Rise of Bangtan at boracity account (it has 21 episodes and made very professionally).
