The glasses only show future happenings so unless he actively tries to find the exit it won't tell him if he's right or wrong about each spot. It was simpler to just find that spiral and head out

Funny thought, even though Omi was tricked that he would become evil in the future because of the effect of the crystal glasses while affected by the reversing mirror, he did became evil albeit unknowingly and even when was freed from being evil his honor code was turned against him via vow. The Yin yo-yo event plotted by Chase plus his ego and him trusting people too easily I believe cost him his chances to become leader at the end.

If two people grab a hold of the same wu, and are on different alignments, and both have other wu on them (unless you're dashi) then a challenge can be issued. Who grabs it first doesn't matter.

Nope. You can issue a challenge and state what it is. Or you can issue a challenge and the other can accept and issue the challenge. Both are fine so long as both parties agree.

couldn't Omi look into the future to foresee which path will lead where making it easy for Omi to find the way out? Vlad was the one who decided this challenge even knowing Omi had the glasses, yet Omi didn't use them that way. This makes me think how idiotic those two are. Or am I missing something?
