The reaon why the alarm went off is because at 47:58 you took down the last camera, Pavel warns you to leave like one or two remaining or the alarm goes off if you take all the cameras out.

Before the 2023 update, I was grinding Cayo Perico. A week, maybe 2, BEFORE the update, I had gained $142 million from grinding Cayo solo. Then, a week after the update, I tried Cayo and failed. 5 times. It's hard now, which is a good thing. Nice video. Thanks for the effort :)

It's because you took out all of the cameras. You can't take out all the cameras in the compound. Also, the very last guy you killed in the compound before the alarms sounded, can't be killed w/out setting off the alarm. No matter where you kill him on the catwalk or that short hallway where he walks back and forth, the new guards that spawn after grabbing the target, will be alerted. It's best to take out the compound guards after grabbing the target when doing this challenge, probably. This was a tough challenge though nice work.

Technically it counts as a win but the cameras are a special case as if you take out a certain number pavel will say that you cannot take out another camera and you did just that thus the alarm went off and you were confused because if you ignored that line at 47:07 or you didn’t hear pavel say that

The way I take out two guys is back to back, and it works every time. Line up your shot where both heads are going to be lined up together by first aiming for the one looking at you and then hit the back of the head of the guy facing away from you when their heads line up. It's a one-shot two birds dead kind of shot. It takes a little bit longer, but I never miss doing it this way. Also, since I've done it a million times, at the north dock, one vehicle that goes towards the airstrip turns around the gun tower closest to the airstrip and circles behind the warehouse that stores the loot and back again. You can safely blow it up at the gun tower after taking out the guy in the tower. No one can hear you if you do it there. The other vehicle circles around in front of the same warehouse, going past the gas tanks, and comes and goes toward the security checkpoint. After you kill everyone (And the boat, too. Make sure he's not too close to the security checkpoint when you do that, or the alarm will go off.), you can blow up the car by shooting the gas tank when it passes by it. (He can literally see you grabbing the loot in the warehouse.) Once you take both out, there won't be any more vehicles passing there. (I'm a sniper (always stealthy), so I always use crack shot and get a rocket launcher with the weapon drop. I also always take down cameras at the airstrip. I don't always exit there, though.)

I did this a couple of years ago. It's actually much easier when you take your time. The guys in the cars are the worst. Totally not worth it, but fun. I use the conspirator loadout and kill the jug last, using the C4 for fun, but a full mag to the head kills him on hard mode too. I didn't know you could knock him over by running into him. I also blow up Rubio's car for good measure. That last camera is always the one that I leave, it's the most out-of-the-way.

Amazing vid. Theres always a delay b4 an alarm. Theres something tied to the last guy that u killed b4 the camera. He needs to be killed in the hallway and not out side of it. Saw that info in a different vid but cant remember which one. The alarm would have sounded anyway once u get the primary bc they have a new crew of guards and there are bodies everywhere. I have an issue w the 1st personal guard u killed. I have to shoot his dead body to move him into the grass so the new guards dont see him after I grab primary.

Starting in the compound first was probably easier as it’s harder to klil everyone in the compound where as killing everyone outside the compound is much easier and less likely to get caught

Yes you do get extra guards in compound after primary because you hav one at panther cage another behind the white car and one down the corridor near the main gate

If you change to pistol, you can run up and gun but guys when there's 2 of them. On PS just run up and press O..not sure what it is on Xbox or PC. Jus be sure to run in the middle of their cones. Usually if you just run to the middle between them you'll be good

You can also take out the Juggernaut with 2 or 3 molotovs in the crackshot loadout. He does scream as he toasts, but it works well enough.

i know this is an old video. But you should do it again - properly : by doing the buzzard disruption optional prep to get rid of el rubios chopper, then kill everyone in the compound then kill the entire island to avoid the respawn issue. Hope this triggers your OCD :-)

When you have a pair of guards facing each other don't shoot, run straight upto them and mash melee a couple of times and you'll get them both fast enough

There has been a sneaky new update from rockstar where the cayo heist is concerned. When you escape the compound, you get on the bike and head up towards the helipad there is usually a guard that drives past in a jeep. Now they have a guard standing there instead of the jeep. They screwed me out of my elite challenge on hard mode and I lost 100k out my loot bag because he mowed me down in seconds. 😢😂

In the compound you have to leave 1 camera or you will trigger the alarm. I want to say Pavel's dialogue says to leave 1 camera, or the person watching them. Will see that no cameras are seeing the compound.

I know, 4 months late, but since Cayo launched, you cannot kill everyone in the compound AND all cameras. You must leave one camera to not trigger. I've tried this when we first got this heist new.
