Ah, no you spilled the secrets. xD Kidding of course. I'd say your level of editing is higher than a lot of people from our community, I'm not trying to bash anyone and certainly not trying to undermine anybody. Your colour sense is quite developed. You use a mac and that's really excellent for colours, better than windows. Also you put a lot of effort into research, something I'm very lazy about :P Maybe try giving reaper a go for audio editing, it's probably the most complete pro software out there that's free. Sigh, masking and I have a long history lmao, not my favourite thing to do, especially while rotoscoping you have to do it frame by frame xD I don't find it at all strange that you did engineering and work in IT. It's good :D I do all this fundubbing stuff to relieve my stress as well.

Thank you so much! that's so encouraging to hear, especially coming from you a professional animator 😃 I'm loyal to Mac & Apple and there's that saying "once you go Mac you can't go back" - so true 😂 though I have noticed that the graphics are better than a (standard) Windows computer. Putting 'research' is purely because I'm actually very un-creative! I admire people who have the skill to just envision things and make it happen - my only choice is to plan it out neatly 😅 What's rotoscoping? I find animation super interesting too so would love to hear your explanation of these technical concepts! Okay will give Reaper a go, thanks for letting me know! oh my it looks so professional 😲

Congratulations for reaching 7K subscribers! Wow tbh, I really appreciate that some people create these kind of videos. Anyhow, I forget that Pinterest does exist lol. I am going to use it on next time because I have been struggling to create a theme that is standard for my videos. Totally can relate with all the engineering things because I do take engineering in my university -although I don’t want to do it but typical Asian parents- Being immersed in too much technical things is nauseating for me. So this is one of the only ways to escape from that XD Anyways, thank you. I hope that I can improve my content better with your help here. I really appreciate it 🥺

Try typing "kamio" after your searches (not just on Pinterest), so for example "rapunzel kamio" - it's a Japanese stationery brand that collabs with Disney, and makes hands down the prettiest designs 💕 looking at them is like looking at honey! www.kamiojapan.jp/brand-character/disney.html

Hi 5 for Audacity! Hands down the best yet the simplest software for audio editing out there imo :")) We have such different way of masking photos in PS though, interesting interesting :o Thank you so much for sharing this, always a pleasure to see what's behind your wonderful videos 🥰

Your multis seem way too good to be created with the humble Audacity 😆 and haha even though it looks old & clunky, I'm loyal to it! oh I wonder how you do your masking! sure there's heaps of ways though, so it's interesting to see others' methods 🧐

This was incredibly interesting & enjoyable!! I've always known how useful Pinterest is in many reagrds, but somehow I never found myself diving into it x) Your profile definitely looks inspiring though! A fellow engineer around here; yay!!!! :D Tbh, making multis using Audacity seems exhausting XD Especially when the songs are so long! But I might also be thinking that because Vegas Pro offers a simpler process for editing multis. I knew how to use PS once upon a time (9-ish years ago), but I have no memory of any of the tools mentioned in the video hahah. I do know how much of a treasure it is though; very useful indeed! And lastly, I'll most definitely add these songs to the list of songs I listen to while I study XD so soothing!
@Meirenyu4 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I'm so relieved you found it interesting & enjoyable - I was afraid it would be like watching a droning engineering lecture lol 😓 oh that's so cool! woohoo! I feel like we are in the minority here, most study languages/arts, which makes sense. Which stream of engineering do you study? :) Everyone has been saying that now about Audacity (I didn't even realise there was a simpler way!) but unfortunately Vegas Pro doesn't work for Mac 🙁 I love the entire Adobe suite! their programs are such top notch. And aw glad you like the songs! this is the type of music what I listen to outside of Disney :') there's lots of playlists on Spotify for those hard study sessions!
@abeda.76924 жыл бұрын
“Watching a droning engineering lecture” - that’s pretty what online learning has been like for the past month >< Tbh I feel that minority only includes the two of us lmao. I study Electrical Engineering; Power systems, machines & control systems are the major focus of the courses I take ^^ I assume you study Computer Engineering if you work at the IT? Listening to some Disney songs while studying is also great indeed!
@Meirenyu4 жыл бұрын
yep... 😴 oh wow didn't expect that! I studied electrical engineering too! high five! I thought you would do something like mechanical or civil for some reason. And I've also done those courses on power & machines stuff and didn't like them, networking & computing was what I preferred. But I'm awful at engineering lol 🤦🏻♀️
@abeda.76924 жыл бұрын
Woohoooo high five back!! Machines courses are dull indeed.... control systems and power system automation are most likely my favorite! My knowlegde of computing stuff is limited to logic design and microprocessors; while I do like those topics per se, I wasn’t exactly a fan of the courses (which is possibly because of the instructor’s method of teaching those courses). I’m sure you’re not awful at engineering! Sometimes it’s easier to think that you are XD

@@MirkaKaroliina ohhh I remember watching this back in 2014! actually even now, I don't find that video of yours cringey at all (if you call that cringey, I don't even know what my 2014 videos would be 😂) I think I understand most of the process you showed, but that only works when you can sync up the audios exactly? Anyway, I'm pretty sure you can do edit audio in Premiere too but have yet to try! the result would probably be better
@MirkaKaroliina4 жыл бұрын
@@Meirenyu The audio part in that video is okay but the rest isn't 😅 Syncing the audios in Vegas is really easy, that's why I have found it the best program to edit audios. I usually zoom in as close as possible so I can see the audio peaks. You can also move the files so smoothly whereas when I tried to edit audios with Premiere it was a nightmare cause the program is meant for video editing and not audio 😄

haha yes Pinterest is one of those things you can unintentionally scroll on for ages 😂 but I think it's a much more wholesome version of Instagram so... :') Masking with Photoshop, sorry to sound so repetitive, but it really does get easier with time! and you'll be familiarised with the tools. For example the tolerance, I can look at a picture and know roughly what number to put. If you ever want any help with masking I'm more than happy to assist ☺️

@@Meirenyu Yeah, Pinterest it's just as wholesome as your soft&pretty™ design style! @Kocisaurus4 жыл бұрын
@@Meirenyu Thinking about my The Sims 4 houses now I'd go for shabby chic, especially if influenced by a beach style; then everything that could make me feel like popped out from a 50s/60s Sci-Fi fiction would be great and I also love the style that mix different textures, fabric, modern styles and patterns, I believe this is the "electric" one! And a traditional-influenced design would also be spot on for me. 👌 All that I know is that, as a low-key compulsive hoarder, I would stay as far away as possible from all the styles in which I wouldn't be really free without turning them into something else, so no Scandinavian nor minimalistic. 😂
@Meirenyu4 жыл бұрын
Electric style, never heard of that one - but a traditional Italian cottage would be bliss 😍 I heard that there is an Italian village selling houses for $1 - surely that's a rumour :o ahaha! Scandinavian designs do look so neat & clean, but not IKEA furniture, no thank you 😅

What a great video! I have just started using Audacity and it seems to be cooperating with me at the moment. I do have a question though, being the expert you are, I presume you know how to change the pitch the right amount of semi-tones, right? If it is no problem, do you think you could explain how to change the pitches correctly, please? :)
@Meirenyu4 жыл бұрын
Do you mean changing the between DVD and Bluray/original pitch? if so, Effect > Change Pitch > Frequency > +/- 4% It's easier to change the frequency over the semitones, hopefully this helps 😀
