The signed thing in the book box is called a book plate. It gives you the option to stick it in the book and make it an autographed edition if that’s what you’d like. Some people just collect the book plates too.

❤️The unidentified item is a needle gauge. It measures the size of knitting needles so that you are using the correct size for your project.

Also a stitch gushed (the right angle) you make a sample of your work with the needles and yarn posted in a pattern and it will give you the “gauge” - how many stitches x how many rows should measure a certain number of inches/centimetres. Gauge is determined by the tension of the stitches you do. Measuring the gauge for a fitted pattern is extremely important to ensure a proper fit. In scarves, it’s not so important.

If it's a signed bookplate by the author, yes you put it on the title page to create a signed book. Authors will sign a bunch of them and send those as swag

Once Upon A book club is the absolute best Mother's Day gift I mean really can be used for any gift but the box that I gifted my mother and mother-in-law was absolutely incredible Oregon Trail themed and just the gifts were on point and so much fun to open

Yes that is a signed book plate for the book The Love Hypothesis. You stick it in the front of the book. Oh and the book was a pretty fun one. I read it earlier this year.

I've tried Birchbox and Ipsy but not Glossy Box. I don't mind the sample sizes because it's less wasteful if you don't like the product--as long as you can actually purchase the full-size products if you like them.

I would totally use that but I collect glass beer bottles including the cap. My kitchen cabinets are lined at the top with craft beer bottles.

I’m not a big fan of the Breo box. I do love the Once Upon a Book Club boxes. I ordered that box as well! :) Sip and stitch would be fun if I wanted to actually make the projects often lol. The other boxes I can do without.

Another great unboxing haul video! I’ve never subscribed to Glossybox but have been a loyal subscriber to Boxycharm for about 4 years. I appreciate that Boxycharm sends full sized products. I do occasionally pause my box so I can use my products before they pile up too high.

She Crafty got the same perfume bottle from glossy box in a white box with the white label that said tester on it. But then I watched Subscription Sisters and she got the same bottle of perfume was not in a white box and the white tester label was off.. crazy 😧

The plan that it's offering me only has two shipments for a whole year's subscription. I'm wondering if I would get more shipments if I signed up at the beginning of the year, rather than halfway through summer? Like, am I missing out on some of the year's products if I sign up now?
