Hello @davehartman5430! Thanx for stopping by! WIth the generator and the resycler (or a fabricator) you are able to uograde the drills to reduce the power consumption (the speed upgrade doesn't work). The power from 0.25/sec falls downto 0.19/sec. To upgrade the drills you need crystals :/ Also notice that i'm able by just moving my drill to mine different special ore (lithium or obsidian).

Nice vid. I see you play with your weapons barely upgraded. Is there a reason why? Cause of the repair costs?

Thanx for watching the video! For the moment i spend all my power and mass to craft solars panels and BCU items. Playing on hardcore is not easy to gather all you need to repair the weapons. Especially in winter the pearls are real pain. At the end i'm going to upgrade my Recurve up to lvl4, my Lever Action with my .44 and my Shotgun up to lvl2 and the Double Barrel just at lvl1.

@@prometheus85nl64 There is no tip. I run for lockcrates and i loot for scrap south of the cetral pond. All those huge rock formations that seperate the valley from the pillars-arch area, the happy hill, dry mountain up to the north pond and from there north to the oretestic... In a good day i will loot about 15-20 scrap.
