This is really one beautiful and joyful ride in Kyoto town. Kyoto is truly beautiful and well preserved historic place. Saito cha is athletic beauty. 11:36 She's going uphill slope and talking the same time for over 5 mins 💪😀. Certainly, the brakes on the rickshaw make it easier and safe on many slopes in Kyoto. 22:26 she's like telling an ancient poem..❤🙂 Look forward to seeing more videos from Kyoto. Hope more viewers find this video and enjoy it 🙏😊

Thanks for watching. As a Japanese person, I am honored to have foreigners see the scenery of Japan. I want to go to Kyoto again when the four seasons of Japan are beautiful.
Shiori Saito is such a friendly and knowledgeable rickshaw driver. I hope she is doing well and is happy in life. I don't know how her English is, but if I understood japanese I would 100% take a rickshaw ride with her as my guide.

I fell in love with his joy and charisma, he really motivates you to see life in another way, I thought that only rickshan existed in Asakusa .

12:13 Ah the cicadas. You know it's summer in Japan when you hear them everywhere. 15:02 The first time I visited Japan, I was surprised at how loud the crows were and how they could be heard loudly along the city streets.

Thanks for watching. We Japanese feel the arrival of summer when we hear the sound of cicadas. I'm sorry that many crows startle you😅 If you have another chance, please come to Japan.

Excellent Video, Mister. Kyoto is absolutely stunning. Light rains just amplified the beauty of Kyoto, everything from the roads and pathways to old houses and shrines looked truly amazing. Guide Shiori Chan did a excellent job in providing info about the location. Will definitely visit Kyoto when I visit your beautiful country.

I notice that all the Kyoto rickshaws have two distinct handbreak handles on both the left and right. 🤔 I wonder if this is only a law in Kyoto for rickshaw? Maybe Kyoto laws are slightly different 🤷🏼♂️
@JSCM012 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Rickshaws cannot run without brakes because there are many slopes in Kyoto. I haven't asked if it's legal or not, so I'll ask next time I have the chance.

Right, it is because of the topography of Kyoto. Compared to places like Asakusa, which is relatively flatter, brakes aren't needed like for the ones in Kyoto. To some extent, since it is classified as a light vehicle, I'm sure the prefectural government has a law that requires the brakes

I believe that this is the same female rickshaw driver in this video > link > kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmfVk3ern6ZmY6s < Same name Shiori Saito of Ebisuya rickshaw. Great personality , very smart in her guide and so pretty. Thanks for the ride.

Thank you for watching. As you said, it's the same woman as the link destination. Her guide is wonderful, and as a fellow Japanese person, I am very honored to have so many people watch this video.
Can I ask what is the name of the style of hat she wears? I am very interested to learn more, but I don't know what they call this style of hat! Thank you very much!
