Great, but allow me to present my method. 7 - 2 1/3 --> 6 3/3 - 2 1/3 (regroup the whole number. Take 1 and make it a fraction similar to 1/3. That makes 6 3/3) --> Subtract numerator (3-1 =2) --> Subtract whole number (6-2 = 4) --> just copy denominator and reduce to lowest term if possible. answer is 4 2/3 believe me, this is easier than what is presented on the video.

Hi, I just want to ask if the method of subtracting whole numbers into mixed fractions is basically the same as adding whole numbers into mixed fractions? I've seen one tutorial video on adding whole into mixed fractions where he just added the whole number into the whole number of the mixed fraction and just copied the fraction.

That is not the same. Adding a whole number to mixed fraction is simple as you can add the whole numbers and copy the fraction. You cannot subtract using the same method.
